I'm thinking about doing orange on Addams family. Has anyone tried this and have pics?

Waiting on a shipment of a lot of colors from titan. I'll be doing walking dead in red. Black hole in light blue. Addams family in Orange. And whirlwind in light blue. Pics to come in the following weeks.
I had a 2 1/2" translucent break on a slongshot in a stern Star Trek in about 2 weeks. A few hundred plays. Anyone else have this problem or how are everybody's lasting? Just ordered enough rings for 4 games all going on location and I had a few on as slings to test.
I'm far away from my games on location and would like them to last at least a month though. Although my games get about 500+ plays per month but regular rubbers lasted 4-5 months easy. Maybe I'll just to have to keep rubber slings if silicones can't hold up.
Quoted from Crash:The only issue I've had was a minor split at a tight post bend. I rotated it and it's still holding up. Had no issues with slings at all, and I'm saying that for a dozen location games.
How long have you been using them on those games?
I have had 2 of the 2 1/2" translucent Titans bands break on sling shots on a stern Star Trek on location. I had red on a Walking dead right next to it with a similar amount of plays and they aren't broken but they are extremely dented and smushed. I put blue on the Star Trek and will see how they last this month. Hopefully I have better luck with colored. I will drop in next month and let you know how they hold up.
Quoted from vid1900:Run you finger over the star posts and make sure there is not a piece of sharp flash.
If you nick the bands, they will quickly break.
Thanks vid I'll check that out. This game gets about 1000 plays a month so it's under pretty heavy use.
I just posted pictures of black hole in blue on page 31. Almost too much blue though. I think orange might be cooler next time to accent the small amount orange of the playfield.
I use these cases. They are under $10 and stack and lock onto each other great for all pinball parts. I have one for coils and sleeves, 1 for leds, 1 for rubbers and one for all other miscellaneous parts for location.
