On B/W games do people go larger than 2" rings on the slingshots? I bought a kit for my TAF from Titan during Black Friday, and pretty much every kit on the page as far as I could tell only included 2 x 2" rings when the manual states 4 are required (2 for slingshots, 2 for posts to the left of pop bumpers).

Almost all kits included 2 x 2.5" rings that aren't included in the manual at all, which makes me think people go bigger for slingshots?

Anyone fitted Titans to a TAF and can comment about the 4 x 2" rings the manual says are needed?

Quoted from Crash:

From my experience most manuals list 2-1/2” rings for the slingshots. Those are what you want. 2” is too small.

The TAF manual lists them as 2" (see D below), which is apparently standard for Pat Lawlor games. 2" is a tight fit with rubber, I know that much...

Flipper power, pin level and pitch at the very least would make that unreliable I think.

I use an anti static foaming cleaner on everything and it works brilliantly. Not abrasive at all but it gets dirt off rubbers and everything else with no problems.

This is the stuff:
Genuine Amberclens Anti Static Foaming Cleaner 400ml https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003FTR0IS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_M49kCbMNPNV0X

Apologies for the UK Amazon link, I imagine it must be available over the pond.

Slings affect gameplay, so having two rubbers on them would impact their power I would've thought?
