Any chance you'll be adding 4"? I'd love to add these to the STTNG slings.

I put the 3.5" on my STTNG and so far so good.

GITD might look pretty sick on Crescendo.... the pops "when lit" feature seems to cycle almost at random..I have no idea what controls it, but when those five pops are NOT lit, it gets real dark except for the UV highlights. They all have warm white crystal fans in them so they are pretty dang bright when they're on... looks fantastic to have that basically be the "GI" and then the UV with the glowball and highlights when they're off...love it. GITD rings sound like they will be perfect for this.

Thinking about doing them on BF since I havent gotten a trade yet. Thing is, will it be available in all sizes?

Yes. We're even bringing in the new sizes (mini flipper, short post, and 3/8 flipper)

Hey Titan-any updates for the new color pink yet? Thanks!

    #406 4 years ago
    Quoted from Titan_Pinball:

That's interesting. Where do you normally use those?

I have a Lucky Strike (Williams 1965) that uses the T-shape.

Bally's Alladdins Castle also uses three of them

There's one to the left of the spinner and the left pop bumper and one in front of the center guide for the horse shoe on the left side

i'm also waiting for that before i place an order.

Currently in production. Shouldn't be more than 10-14 days from completion, then another 4-6 to get here. (The entire order is rather large, hence the increase in production time)

Conical tapered posts going to be available soon?

    #420 4 years ago
    Quoted from Crash:

Conical tapered posts going to be available soon?

They will be part of the next set of molds. I'm working on the 3D models now. Once the manufacturer accepts them, the tooling will start.

Things have been going well, so I will probably order them as soon as possible.

    #421 4 years ago

I wish I had more games to put these rubbers in. Fan-tas-tic!

+1 on the T-shaped post rubbers. I need a few in my '68 Gottlieb Royal guard.

Went with orange and orange post on the slings on my JP, love the way it looks.

    #424 4 years ago

I may have missed this but are the yellow post sleeves in the plans?

    #425 4 years ago

those purple rings might look pretty nice on TOM , slings especially.

    #426 4 years ago
    Quoted from Crash:

I may have missed this but are the yellow post sleeves in the plans?

The tapered ones? Yes, the molds are being developed now.

    #427 4 years ago

Not the tapered ones, the other yellow sleeves that are used in games like The Addams Family and other Data East games.

    http://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/38-6552

They are slightly shorter and fatter than normal 1-1/16" standard post sleeves. I think the posts that use these are short as well otherwise I don't see why we can't use yellow 1-1/16" posts.

    #428 4 years ago

Oh, those nasty posts that PAPA likes to use in tournaments

I will definitely add those to the list.

We have 6 new molds in production now, so it will be a little while before we add the thick post, the T-shape post rubber, and the ramp rubber. But, the goal is to have them all within the next six or seven months.

    #429 4 years ago

Just swapped in all purple on my TOM. Because why not.

That's my bazaar I did last night. Love the way they feel on this game. Very snappy. Lots of action. Will be setup for our competition use next week. Think we might be converting most of our games soon....all 30 of them.

Only thing I have noticed is some areas I have gone down a size from stock. These seem to have much more stretch to them so can feel a bit loose in certain spots with the original size.

    #434 4 years ago

Cool bazaar Jim. Never seen/played before seems to have a lot going on with the zipper flippers and all
Nice to know about the downsizing. It would be nice if everyone helped Titan get a conversion chart together if that is the case. Likely more noticeable with larger rings would be my guess.

Just as long as everyone is updating the kit database for each conversion they do, this shouldn't be an issue.

Anything on the 3-1/2" rings yet?

    #437 4 years ago

They are in this current set of molds.

I need to do all the rubber in my TFTC. I'm just holding out for the glow in the dark rings.

    Or black light reactive?

    #441 4 years ago

Mine just came in. Going into TZ soon.

Glow in the dark things are black light reactive.

kind of. they get charged big time from black lights, but they don't glow like say white out paint does while under black light. I believe these glow in the dark rubbers will be charged by light, then you will see the glow when the lights are turned off.

    #444 4 years ago

Also used on Flash Gordon and as a nipple protector on the back of gas displays from early solid state games.

Just ordered a full replacement set of translucent ones plus a few extras today for my Metallica Pro. White rubbers get soooo dirty real quick and the white mini post rubbers start to deteriorate faster than anything. Hope I'm as happy with these as others are. Totally forgot the discount code, but no biggie. Good to support a small family business.

    Quoted from ViolinSteve:

Ha. I didn't even know there was a discount code. I'm apparently too poor to pay attention.

    #447 4 years ago

I'm going to have these available at my booth at shows. We're going to see how the translucent ones go and then possibly move into other colors. Come check them out if you haven't seen them yet.

Will you have any white ones at the NW show?

    Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:

Only thing I have noticed is some areas I have gone down a size from stock. These seem to have much more stretch to them so can feel a bit loose in certain spots with the original size.

I will be working with our manufacturer to see if we can limit the stretchiness without sacrificing bounce. So far, it only seems to be noticeable on the larger sizes. We probably won't need to go beyond 4 1/2".

    Quoted from cody_chunn:

    Or black light reactive?

The glow in the dark will be interesting. I will be working with someone who will run the GITD through various light sources to see what kind of glow effects can be produced.

    Quoted from ViolinSteve:

Totally forgot the discount code, but no biggie.

I swear, you people and your forgetfulness
    I took care of it.

Speaking of which, the support has been fantastic! We are extending the coupon another month (and hopefully indefinitely). TITAN10 works for all individual rings and sample packs (not bulk packs).
