Quoted from Da-Shaker:

If you have a trough light, clear flipper rubbers look Bomb!
[quoted image]

And I just ordered a full set of Red Titans for my Deadpool. Then decided to add through lighting. Should have got the clear for flippers. GITD would probably light up nice too.

Iron Maiden in red. I love it!

I just did a Maiden in red also. I was very happy how the red complimented the playfields tan color. I did use black posts and flippers. I am waiting on some ramp decals so I can finish it and was going to post some pictures. Guess I don't need to now.

Just received my Titan order and I decided to add a T-shirt and Hoodie to support the brand. I must say that these are very high quality items. The dark gray hoody is great - very thick and heavy material. The black T-shirt is also awesome. I've been disappointed with the last several tees I've purchased online with various other companies due to how thin the material ended up being. However, the Titan tee is old school quality - thick heavy 100% cotton.

I highly recommend sporting Titan swag!

Have a newb question - recently cleared my flipper rubbers, and within 50 plays they're smudged and dirty looking again. This a result of degrading black rubber elsewhere on playfield? No obvious decay or cracking.

This is very common even in new games you have a steel ball rolling around and it is hitting metal parts you will always get this and just have to clean it.

You found the secret indicator! Think of the flipper rubbers as a reminder to clean your machine. When you see the flipper rubbers start getting that dark band on it, time to pull the glass, and do a once over with playfield cleaner, and clean ALL of the steel balls and ball guides. 10 minutes every 50 games seems reasonable for preventive maintenance, and you now have found the 'Time to Clean' indicator built-in!!! LOL

(Note to self: Make sure I have a bottle of playfield cleaner. GameRoomGuys, PBL, etc and even Amazon sell it for $15 a bottle)

it is also a result of micro-fine coil stop particles settling on your playfield from play.

Is the Titan10 coupon code no longer available or did it change to a new code?

#2760 3 years ago

TITAN10 is still correct. It's good for 10% off Titan Competetion Silicone products, excluding the bulk variety pack and the universal ring kit.

I ordered a full set too, was lazy and used the one from the DB which didn’t have the skinny posts on it, rather standard... super fast shipping as always and well priced too considering Canada! Now I need to cringe and just order up skinny post rubbers and pay shipping again

Ugh.....this is what I get for not reading this thread for awhile......Can you post the correct size to order for AIQLE disc spinner? I've taken a stab at it...we'll see if I'm close when the next order arrives....thx....

Anybody have a rubber list for a Stern Star Trek Pro? I see there is a kit listed on Titan's site, but it's for a Premium/LE and I don't know what the difference would be from that to a Pro. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

If you haven't seen it already, here are a couple tips for flipper rubber and slings:

When installing flipper rubber you should always "unload" the tip. This means after the rubber is on the flipper bat, pinch the rubber and push it towards the tip of the flipper bat to slack the tip of the rubber as much as possible. Stretch it towards the tip until you see a visible gap between the tip of the flipper bat and the rubber. It will also help to rotate all of the rings once a month or so depending on the playing time.

The same method can be applied to slingshot rubber as well. I pre-stretch a little bit, then put the rubber on the sling posts and then pull 2 different sides at a time, repeatedly. The object would be to make the tension across the three posts as even as possible. Also, check the post groove for sharp corners. Star posts and metal posts can have sharp edges to the grooves that cut the “skin” of the silicone ring, and then they fail.

If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us! [email protected]

Thanks,
Eric

I just swapped the rubber on my Ghostbusters for glow in the dark. It's like they were made for this game, it looks great. I pulled off a darker green from the previous owner which were also Titan and they are in perfect shape, other than being dirty. Has anyone tried batch cleaning these? I know I could clean individual rings with alcohol or Novus, but I'm tempted to toss them into the ultrasonic. Has anyone tried it? I could even run the ultrasonic with only alcohol.

Are RING KITS eligible for this?

#2772 3 years ago

Absolutely. The database ring kits are just a ring list that puts the individual rings in your cart for the kit. So yeah! 20% off.

#2773 3 years ago

Just as a follow up on batch cleaning used Titan's. I put some alcohol in a jar with the dirty Titan's and ran it in the Ultrasonic for 5 minutes. They still required a wiping after rinsing the alcohol. I'm not sure the ultrasonic did any good, but it doesn't seem like it did any harm. They look brand new and went back into my stock.

We Have a New Color! Well, sort of... You spoke and we listened. After much feedback on our color selection, we have decided to discontinue our previous color of yellow. Many of you called it “puke green-yellow” and I agree.

Now in stock is our new “Candy Yellow”!

Ok , it’s not really called candy yellow. But it’s a good description. The Old Yellow (as it is referred to on the titanpinball.com website) was a yellow-green similar to RAL 1016. The New Yellow (also as it is referred to on the titanpinball.com website ), is similar in color to RAL 1026. Our New Yellow is a more luminous yellow with more of a reddish hue akin to “Caution yellow” or “Safety Yellow” without being too orange like “School Bus Yellow”. If you have a current need for our old yellow, we have plenty of stock and will continue to sell what we have. Even better, it will be discounted. We have most items in stock right now on the New Yellow. We will have everything except rebound rubber in stock before the end of the year.

sry I'm sure this has been asked in here a million times but is the 2 1/2 ID the normal sling size I should get for new sterns, jjps, etc?

also, how are ppl liking the low bounce flipper rings? should I try them on my tmnt or tron to try and slow it down?

#2782 3 years ago

Jurassic Park (Premium) all decked out in Titan Competition Silicone Rings.

Orange in flipper/sling areas and pop bumper area, green for upper flipper and post, yellow (old, but soon to be new) everywhere else.

(See my kit under Chris Z. if you would like to order the same).

It's so hard to say on the slingshot rings these days. It really just depends on the game. We almose never recommend 2". It's usually 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" and even 2-3/4" sometimes.

Hi,

I am going to place an order for my Creech. Was wondering if anyone has photos of their Creech using Titan's pink post sleeves? It is a hot pink or more of a light pink? I can't really tell based off the photos in this thread and the Titan website doesn't show the post, just a swatch for pink

post (resized).jpgpost (resized).jpg

Also looking to see GITD and/or translucent on a Creech.

Thank you!

I really need to take new product photos. I have been putting it off because I'm no photogragrapher.

Here are some pics of pink sleeves on my creech

I did a creech with pink posts and clear bands last year. It looks great. I think too many people focus on green and purple for this game.

#2787 3 years ago

Titan_Pinball Thank you. This is what I was looking for. I have some follow-up questions for you.

1) I'm surprised you don't have a pink or yellow flower pot rubber beside the snackbar hole. Why did you opt for grey?
2) Did you replace the chase lighting in your ramp? Is that a mod? If so, please message me the details.
3) Do you have any photos of GITD on a Creech? I'm flip-flopping on what I should order.

freeplay3 I agree. I am trying to make the pink POP a bit more. I even did up pink apron cards.

Hey Fifty

1) No particular reason. I use grey quite a bit
2) Yes. It's sort of custom but made from a pinduino kit. PM @lyonsden
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/update-arduino-shield-propin-pinhead

3) I'm sorry I do not. The glow green is pretty bright. Almost fluorescent green.

#2790 3 years ago

Hi Titan_Pinball

Thanks for the help! I am about to place my order. I built a new customized kit and added it to the site. Mine has 2 extra post sleeves for the outlanes.

I noticed an error in one of the existing kits. This should be corrected or deleted. It is shown as ID, but should be OD.

error (resized).pngerror (resized).png

My kit went up as Anonymous, but I didn't mean it to. Feel free to edit it and add my name.

#2791 3 years ago

Got it! Fixing that up now. Thanks for making a kit!

#2792 3 years ago

The strips say in stock but the drop down doesn't work. I would like to get a couple if it's in stock. Thanks

#2793 3 years ago

Jenniebear So sorry, I am actually out of the LED strips. I hope to have more mid-December.

#2794 3 years ago

How would a set of glow in the dark look in a black hole? Really tempted

#2795 3 years ago

JP with my new "new" yellow installed (except for under the Jeep - that's another day). I like the "new" yellow much better!

I did some on a deadpool I had. Looked great with the red titan bands.
