We're back!

After a disaster in our datacenter took down our server, we are now running Pinside on a brand new server. However, things may not work as expected as we are still polishing the playfield and adjusting some switches! We might be switching to maintenance mode a few times. Please see this forum topic for more info.

Absolutely! Our 100 ring bulk kits are on sale for $60! We Can't make Black for the main color at the moment because we are out of 2-1/2" black rings, but we have 12 other colors including translucent.

    Thanks so much!
Just ordered a tub. I like how I can pick post sleeves and flipper rubber colors. I wish ya stocked flipper bats, would have picked those up from you also.

    #2702 1 year ago
    Quoted from yzfguy:

Is there a bulk tub you can order? I love the clear/translucent ones and hate picking out each one or trusting a kit. I'd buy a bulk tub with sling rubbers, flipper rubbers and a few of each size ring. Can't find it on the site if there is one.

Definitely buy the bulk kits. Only suggestion I would make is check how many post rubbers you need. Kit only has 10 and some games can use a lot more. If you do a few games a year you can easily build up a collection. Clear is my go to color, but dark blue and red are always in my inventory.

    #2703 1 year ago

Good advice. Don't forget the misc stuff as well like 1/2" short post for DE and earlier Stern, Slim tapered post sleeve for Stern, Gottlieb 3/8" flipper bands, etc.

    #2704 1 year ago
    Quoted from Colsond3:

Just finished installing a Titan kit on the Gottlieb Spiderman I’m restoring. Red rubbers with all new blue star posts looks awesome, especially with the clearcoated playfield.

Created a kit for the rubbers I just used on my GTB Spiderman.

    Thanks

Got my Titan order for Lizard, Hulk and to finish Spidey quickly despite everything going on. It’ll give me something to do this weekend. Thanks Eric!

total fail. I'll tell you about it sometime.

Still pretty depressed about this... Those blue ones on Monster Bash are really screaming for replacement.
How hard can making a flat piece of silicon be?

    #2709 1 year ago

So o love these rings and just replace clears for all my machines. They look incredible!!

One suggestion for the site that would have made shopping easier. It would be nice if you were able to select a machine, rubbers would be pre populated, and you could simply select a single color to add to your cart. Would have made the shopping so much easier than looking for the “clear” kits.

    I love this product!!

Titan_Pinball , Do you still have the 100 bulk kits in translucent? it will not give me the choice for main color.
    Thanks

I believe that means it's just temporarily out of stock.

    Quoted from 2000_Alum:

One suggestion for the site that would have made shopping easier.

That is exactly how the kits database works. It gives you the chance to change the color of any kit as you add it to your cart.

    Quoted from Soapman:

Do you still have the 100 bulk kits in translucent

We are temporarily out of stock. I hope to have more in a couple weeks.

Does Titan have a 1 1/16 tapered sleeve in colors or even black ?
    https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/30003Y

    Thanks.

    #2719 1 year ago
    Quoted from Impzilla:

Does Titan have a 1 1/16 tapered sleeve in colors or even black

    Gottlieb, eh?

Unfortunately we do not. We do have the standard post sleeve, used on most games that will "fit" but it might change your shots slightly. They are very close to the same size at the mid-point where the ball hits the post. We also have a Stern Slim Tapered that would also "fit" but those are skinnier than the originals. They are tapered though. They would leave a small .060" gap at the top as they are both a hair over 1" tall.

    #2720 1 year ago

When will you get clear , sling corner protectors in stock?
    Thanks

    #2721 1 year ago
    Quoted from Titan_Pinball:

With this info, I looked at a lot of playfield pics and most owners have switched over to standard post sleeves.
Think I will try the standard first and go back to tapered if required.
    Thanks.

You know, I think I’ve done 25+ games in full titans by now. Ha ha that’s a lot of rings and posts!

    #2723 1 year ago

Thought I’d share a glow in the dark pic of my Stranger Things LE with the UV kit. Eric was awesome to deal with as usual!

I have the glow in the dark rubbers on my Metallica also. It looks good... but not as good as that Stranger Things!

I'd like to see a pic of the stranger things with the rest of the game on. Does the g.i. wash it out?

I don't see any inserts lit, so I was thinking it may be just the blacklight part turned on. Does it actually look like that during gameplay with lights on in the room? That's awesome.

Yep. Every light in the game turns off and minimal inserts light if you have a mode running while in the upside down. Rest is UV light. It’s crazy how bright it is. Lights up the playfield completely.

I can't wait til this has subsided and we can get to a show to play this game and bksor.

hopefully in a dark corner. It’s incredible in a dark room. Completely transforms the game.

I just finished my TZ refresh and thought I would show off my titans. I am loving these rings. I love how they don’t disintegrate in my fingers when I try to install them like that old crap rubber does. They seem to play just fine so far. I’ll be using them from here on out.

Just did a refresh on my GTB Hulk too. Titan kit with green and yellow mix. Polished all the metal, new posts, new flips and lane guides, etc. Here’s a few pics, start to finish.

And here is the kit I created:

I was thinking green at first for JP, but I am liking the orange after seeing it.

    #2745 1 year ago

Yeah I was debating between yellow, green, light blue and orange. I put a few of each color out around the Playfield and decided orange struck me the best. I am happy with it. It is possible a combination of all 4 of those colors could be good too if trying to match areas on the Playfield. I tend to prefer 1 color though.

    #2746 1 year ago

I put green on mine because...you know...the jungle. The orange look good, but I hate orange and the flippers make me think I'm looking at candy corn. And I can't unsee that. And I hate Halloween.

    I know. I have issues.

Candy corn also has white. Leave it up to beelzeboob to ruin a good thing.

Good to see you post man. Hope all is well.

Finished my Game Plan Lizard. Kit I created is a green/pink mix, with the pink up top at the rollovers and around the pops to bring out the playfield art. Black post caps mostly, green on the slings.

A little before and after chrono...
