I love mine so much I'm going to rip out the brand new white standard rubbers in my whirlwind and try out the blue or yellow..... Can't decide... And get some glow flipper rubbers to match my posts in AFM.
Quoted from Titan_Pinball:oh we have... Fixed!
Placed an order this weekend. Thanks!
When you order the kits, are the rubbers for each kit in individual packs for the kit or are all the rubbers from different kits mixed as a whole bunch? I was never a fan of jigsaw puzzles....
Quoted from Completist:Looling for some advice on Titan color for my SOF. I’m thinking red maybe. Or black? I dunno...

Titan orange is a nice color. It might match with that playfield well. It might be a shade too light but is probably ok. I would probably keep black on the flippers though. It looks good there.
Quoted from Titan_Pinball:I use isopropyl alcohol to clean the rings. I have been known to use Honda cleaner polish as well. They sell it at the Honda cycle shops...
Meh. Whadda you know. I use ketchup.
57D7E238-D26E-4950-8DD6-9E4C94008BD3.gifI have a suggestion for the web site, specifically the Kit Database. I've seen where people have submitted their kits, but I wasn't a fan of their color choices. It would have been nice to keep all the sizes, but update some of the color selections. Is there an easy way to add a 'Change Color' button for each selection?

They do, it's called "Create Similar Kit". The option is visible once you log in:

When you click "Buy Kit" the popup allows you to change any ring color.
Quoted from MK6PIN:Any updates on mini pf bat rubbers ( Munsters and FGY)?
They are in production now. I should have them in a few weeks.

Thx i’ll check out the orange, it could really tie the room together

Sweet!!!

I got am email from Eric. If you order several kits, they mix the rubbers together if you order multiple sets.
Quoted from Titan_Pinball:wowee! I wish my paragon looked like that!
Install some of your translucent rings and it will!
Quoted from zucot:What size are the Stern mini post rings?
Got a pic or a part number? There's more than 1.
That's interesting. I have never seen that part before. It sure looks similar to a 7/16" OD mini post bumper. Maybe taller? I'll have to get my hands on one to know for sure. Maybe someone on here can confirm.

It's probably the same sleeve as I posted in #2535 of this thread.
Edit: sorry, scratch that. He said post rings, not sleeves.... duh

I went with mainly black with clear slings.
20190105_120759 (resized).jpgI've been using the slim flipper rubbers to alleviate flipper hop with games where it's present. Is there another reason for slim flipper rubbers, seen them but never really understood why they exist.

Mainly for Gottlieb System 3 games. They have the narrow fit on the bat. And the company always used tbe wide 1/2" rings instead of 3/8"

Interesting, never owned a system 3.

Here are some pics. These look like taller versions of 7/16 OD rings just like you say. They kind of remind me of super bands. And they kinda don’t feel / look like rubber.

That's exactly what the Thin Flipper is for. I use it on my TNA. It makes the flipper a little less bouncy, allows better catching, etc. Not to be confused with 3/8" flipper which is for Gottlieb games. This is a standard flipper, thinner profile. If your flipper rubber catches the lane guide, this also can solve that problem as well.

That's interesting. The shiny material makes me think it's polyurethane. I wonder if this is going to be a thing now.
I’m a happy pinballer today, my Titan Pinball order arrived!
I mostly ordered new rings and bands for my eldorado city of gold retheme project (it’s becoming an Indiana Jones and the temple of doom pin), but I also grabbed a few rings for my Super Mario Bros and Shaq Attaq as well.
As a Canadian, it’s awesome to see an American based pinball parts store with very fair shipping costs. Thanks Titan Pinball!
Now on to some pics!

I used 7/16" OD on my black knight and they seem to be a-ok. The Stern ones are weird, they are like smooth flat bottom vs being slightly curvy. Didn't seem to matter though.

They are using Super Bands on the posts on Black Knight SOR, probably because they are getting such hard hits when you don't make a clean shot.

Thanks for the info guys! @wackybrake let me know if you think they wear prematurely. If Stern continues to use them we'll have them make.

So far so good, played about 50 games since swapping them in and they look a-ok so far. Will report back if that changes
Thanks WackyBrakke!

Absolute home run with these!!!! Your flipper bat rubbers are slightly thicker, and really allow you to control the ball much, much better, as it provides a great "soft" feel.
Can't recommend enough...THANK YOU!!!!
Munsters (2) (resized).jpg112 games in on BKSOR and the Titans are holding up just fine. The (2) 7/16” OD’s in front of the black knight have ever so slight wear on the bottom edge of them, but the ball smacks those 2 a lot and pretty hard. I think they’ll last just fine.

I posted these a ways back when I matched the factory blue with Titans. Perfect fit IMO. Gives the sense that the walls form the plastics continue down the sides.
...seeing these again for myself is showing me that I need to swap out that rubber and star post on the left too (red star posts on the slings looks good to me though [no wall art on the sling plastics, and blends with the other colors nearby)
Kept some post rubbers black as I preferred the way they blended the back ramp and sides of the spinners into the playfield.

I replaced the few rubber rings I had left in Jurassic Park before it goes back on route. It's been probably about 3 or 4 years since I last shopped it out, and that's before I switched to silicone rings. I have just been replacing what is needed a little bit at a time.
So... just in case anyone has emailed us today, our ability to send or receive emails has been down since about 10PM Tuesday. Bluehost has little info to share. Other than they are working on it. They assure us no messages will be lost, but they don't know when service will be restored.

Any plans on making RED mini flipper rubbers for FG ? Would take two sets. Also white mini sling rubbers would be nice.

We are expecting Red, Green and Glow in the tiny flipper.
Mid August to early September or sooner. Tooling is being made for some new parts as well. We are making post washers as well. These will be for restorations and new machines to prevent clear coat cracking from post movement. I also have the square blue pads in the works and possible even Tron Discs!
