Any news on TOTAN lamp posts yet?

Mid September on the TOTAN post sleves and 2-1/4" rings.

If you are logged in, the website should save your cart. If you are shopping as a guest, it's hit or miss.

Feast your eyes upon AFMr LE with Grey Titans! Aint she a beauty?

Love the gray!

Great news on the 2-1/4, and agree on the gray!! Both wins, and putting an order together....

My shooter cap just disintegrated I checked my order history and I bought it December 2015 so I'm not looking for a replacement and I more than got my moneys worth at .99 cents. I'm more just curious because it seems to have become like brittle or crumbly. Was playing and heard a metal on metal sound and was like what was that. Opened the machine up and the cap had completely come apart it. None of the other rubbers I bought at the same time are like this they are all still soft and perfect. Just my shooter cap has broken down.

Any one else seen that before?

Not me. Is your shooter rod rough or have a burr on it that may have caused the Titan to get chewed up?

Are you sure it is not the older colored rubber?

It's red silicon, it's weird because it the front part seems to have crumbled. When I pulled it off the lower part didn't come with it. I found little bits in the bottom of the cabinet. It seemed to have gone from good to toast instantly.

That is unusual. We would be happy to send you a replacement. Just send a pm or email and we will get it sent to you.
Thanks,
Heather

All my other rings are still perfect. I'm super happy with you product and service. Just seems like a weird one time thing. I'll get one next time I order.
Thanks

Just wondering if anyone could tell me if the translucent's would work on a SFII? (clear and translucent are the same right?)

Or would GITD be better?

Thanks

In the Titan world, the most accurate name is translucent for what some may call clear. In my experience, there is only one crystal clear rubber and not available from Titan and not made in all sizes, only posts. I use these crystal clear post rubbers on my LOTR clear posts, I got them from Pinball Life. I replaced all my rubbers on my Black Knight (except my posts, which are Titan red) with the Titan translucents and I think they look great with how the light passes through them.
As for Glow in the Dark, that is up to your personal preference.

Im just wondering which will look the best with the SF2 playfield/lighting. Im not up to par on all the lighting lingo. I have leds in my pin though.

I was thinking blue posts, orange flippers and the rest translucent or GITD

#2215 6 years ago

Just check out pictures and go for it. Titan has some pics on their website.

Maybe I'll just get both translucent and GITD. It's not like they are super pricey.

I have a SF2 and another table (GB) with GITD Titans. I don't think GITD would look good on SF2... the light green doesn't match the color theme too well.

Translucent would probably look nice. I used orange, which I'm happy with.

Thanks for the advice/suggestion. I was hoping someone with a SF2 would chime in.

What are your two colors of blue? Do you have a side by side comparison?

I'm thinking regular blue for the posts but want to double check before ordering

I've pretty much settled on the idea myself that, any machine I have, if I'm going to replace rubbers and white is expected, clear is pretty much my first choice if I don't have a color scheme come to mind. White seems to be a little too stark and opaque now.

#2221 6 years ago

I agree, I think the clear is my new fav.

Here is probably the best pic I have of the two blues next to each other.

For sure the Titan clear/translucent is the way to go instead of white.

Swapping out the factory black on my Metallica Pro with Titan Translucent, Orange, and Purple. Will post a pic when finished.

#2227 6 years ago

I can't seem to choose translucent in the bulk buy.(67.00) I know I was able to before. Is this not an option anymore?

#2228 6 years ago

We are down to only 2) 7/16" OD translucent. The bulk kit takes 10 of them. I hope to have them back in stock mid September. If you don't mind the 7/16" OD being a different color, we can do that. Just order a bulk kit in a different color and in the comments, put that you want translucent rings and whatever color 7/16" OD you want.

Just finished my Metallica pro with Orange, Black and Translucent Titans. Looks and plays awesome! Fantastic experience and highly recommended!

Dying to make an order.

#2234 6 years ago

They are still in production a little behind schedule. This last order was the largest we have ever produced. It includes over 100,000 rings and pieces including the 2-1/4" and TOTAN lamp sleeves

Thanks for quick response.

Hey guys -
Since apparently I broke the marketplace and can't place an ad at the moment, I'll post this here.

I have 10 standard Titan flipper rubbers, blue. I prefer the real-rubber bounciness. Send me a PM if you're interested in them.

--Mike

Edit: They're claimed, thanks!

Hey Titan! Will y'all be at Expo? I need 3 complete sets of translucents for all 3 of my machines. I believe there are kits for MET and ACDC. Looking at my manual (and machine) for I500 to figure out that one. Just wondering if I'm better off buying the kits, in bulk, or buying them all separately. Any advice appreciated...thanks.

I buy mine in bulk. Especially if you are planning on using translucent on everything.

#2242 6 years ago

They're currently out of stock of the 2.5" translucent rings if you're needing those. I emailed them and they said they'd have more in stock on the 20th.

#2243 6 years ago

We won’t be able to make Expo. There might be someone else there selling though. Possibly Rob Anthony...

#2244 6 years ago

Thanks for the replies. Guess I will place a bulk order tomorrow.

Is it me or do the Titan flipper rubbers seem bigger than the original ones I had? (Slightly goes over the flipper groove)

Or is that normal?

#2250 6 years ago

Yes sir. You need a 3/8" (tall) flipper. Standard is 1/2" tall.

Since I'm talking... Update on the 2-1/4" and out of stock items: It looks like we are looking at early November due to the factory having an unforseen closing last month. Fingers crossed!
