    Quoted from BigDan:

Could you please develop a teal color that will match these posts like you have done for just about all the other colors posts in my other games.

This is certainly not out of the question if there is enough demand. Would anyone else like to see these?

We've had some questions about the 2 1/4 and other lesser used sizes. After our current order arrives, we'll be taking a look at the remainder of available sizes we have missed. Our goal is still to carry (pretty much) everything, so it should be just a matter of time. The larger sizes (5-6) are also on our list, but still a ways out. When the sizes get that large, only a few can fit on a mold. The price gets ridiculously high in a big hurry. I'll get some quotes soon on the tooling and production and see where it goes.

For Shimoda, here's a Tee-post pic to hold you over

Great Matt, now I need a paper towel or piece of tissue to clean up

    #1507 3 years ago

I was putting some Titan silicone rings on my IM and noticed how much wider the Titan posts are conspired to the posts on IM...specifically at the left ramp and war machine. It would certainly make the war machine shot much harder.

Something I learned recently is that Williams post sleeves are think (like the blue one in your picture) and Stern post sleeves are thin (like the black one in your picture).

    #1509 3 years ago

    Came twice?

    #1510 3 years ago

I had the Titan thin rings on Spider-man this weekend at Expo. No issues at all and the game (I'm guessing here) had hundreds of plays. I forgot to check but most reported several hundred plays at least.

    #1511 3 years ago

My GOT Pro was at LAX all weekend. No breaks of my translucent rings and blue and black flipper rubbers and they wiped completely clean when I got back. They look brand new still. The game was played over 500 times.

Here's a Solar Ride playfield in Titan yellow - really looks great.2016-03-05_21.31.08_(resized).jpg2016-03-05_21.31.17_(resized).jpg2016-03-05_21.31.13_(resized).jpg2016-03-05_21.31.23_(resized).jpg

Yep. All sales must go through the marketplace. Thanks!

    #1515 3 years ago

My the translucent ring on my right sling of GOT started to split at the post from all the post passing I've been doing. I just rotated the split to the inlane. Other than that, these still look brand new after almost 1,000 games!

    Quoted from bcrage88:

I did green rubbers on my Paragon it looks pretty sweet, especially now with the XPIN displays ties everything in really nice...

Any Paragon pictures would be appreciated.

    #1517 3 years ago

I did reds on Paragon and like them but not sure they'll stay, not because they don't look awesome (they look great) but because I'd like more contrast between the posts and the rings so I might try something else.

Navy blue, maybe? With light blue in the waterfall area.

Hey chuck, got any pics of your GOT PRO with the titans? I'm considering it but the game plays so great with the factory rubber that I'm not sure why I'd want to change it.

Sure. I will take some pictures and post tonight. I need to take apart my ram mech anyway as on of the screws holding the ram cover on has worked its way loose.

The main reason why I switched was all the black crud all over my playfield from the stock rubbers after only like 50 plays. Ball trails too. Ever since I put Titans on, I don't see any of that. They do collect dirt, but easy as all get out to clean.

    #1521 3 years ago

image_(resized).jpegimage_(resized).jpegimage_(resized).jpegimage_(resized).jpegThis has to be at the top of the list of games that needs very few rings. I didn't take the pops area as I only changed the two rings that are at the pops area exit. I left the top lanes stock.

I have a set of titan yellow rubbers waiting to go on paragon.
Will be interesting to see the different colors people have gone with.

Thanks for posting. Looks bitchin. I was thinking white too for GOT PRO which is my main motive for asking for pics. Thanks!

    #1524 3 years ago

I think those are translucent, not white. Yes?

These are the clear ones buddy. The white ones are white.

    #1527 3 years ago

Gotcha thanks guys. Not sure if I want the translucent or standard whites for a more traditional feel. Mars knows we aren't lacking light delivery on GOT. I probably should read the whole thread, but do translucent bounce differently than whites or even blacks?

Titans should all bounce the same, regardless of color. It does differ from standard rubber....from what many have said in this thread. Think it's up to the person on which they prefer.

Thanks! just read a lot of the OPs posts and see that now.

    #1530 3 years ago

In my opinion you're not going to tell much of a difference switching to Titans. All the flipper tricks work fine with them. The flipper rings might be a tad stickier than reg rubber, but nothing like superbands. Dead bounces are fine, and post passing works as it should.

    #1531 3 years ago

I hate superbands. Don't want em. Don't use em.

Edit: which is my hesitation to try titans. Luckily, and unfortunately (lol), I only have one pin right now so testing out some titans will be cheap and easy.

    #1532 3 years ago
    Quoted from Eskaybee:

So do I. Every one of my games is full of Titans.

    #1533 3 years ago

The Titan silicone flipper bands play similarly to black flipper bands. The Titan silicone rings, on the other hand, seem to be a bit bouncier than black rubber rings.

I have had Titans flipper bands on some of my games...and I agree, dead bouncing/post passing is much better than the result of Superbands. Still "grippier" than transitional, but not too far off. Much more dependable then traditional and easier to clean too

I think you might like Titans. I've found the perfect play rubbers from pinball life too be too bouncy. I like superbands but they deinfetly feel a lot different than rubber. I've found titans to be in the middle between perfect play and superbands and mimics rubber pretty closely.

    #1538 3 years ago

Titans definitely are the closest colored ring option to rubber rings in feel though they are far easier to clean and don't get dirty so quickly.

    #1539 3 years ago

    The new samples have arrived

    7/8" post, "Stern" thin post, Tee-post, 3/4 post, and 2 3/4" ring.

I just need to figure out the proper hardness for the posts, and choose the first colors to bring in. I'll probably start with black, white, translucent, yellow, blue, and red.

    #1540 3 years ago

Sweet! Glad your getting the Stern thin posts. I was just thinking about this today when I took my Titan posts off IM because they were too thick

    #1541 3 years ago

Finally the fatter 7/8" post typically used in yellow on Bally/Williams games!

The high color rendering index rating of incandescents really brings out the ring and post color on your game. Looks amazing! What's with the pinball on a stick?

    #1542 3 years ago

Excited for the t-posts, I'll need em in yellow and red! Probably white as well

Although looking at it, I might just go with black. Looks nice

I want to thank Titan for sponsoring some prizes for the silent auction in the Cycle to the Sea fundraiser tournament. I am the proud winner of the entire lot of Titan rings. We raised in excess of $1500 https://www.facebook.com/events/900697233318024

My bounty of Titan rings... such a beautiful sight.

Are these easier to put on slingshots compared to super bands. Do they stretch and give easier?

    #1546 3 years ago
    Quoted from tp:

    Super easy

    #1547 3 years ago

Titans just f)*(&$)&$ing rock. WAYYYYY easier to put on than superbands and much better for playing. ALmost finished putting Titans on every game I own and will continue to do so.

Do you mean slingshots or flippers? I can comment on the flippers that I was able to do one handed. I was putting on a game and was unable to move the glass all the way off, so I held the glass with one hand and put the Titan on with the other. Would not even attempt with Superbands.

Me too. I've got one more game left to do, Firepower. I've just got to figure out what my color scheme will be.
