No one's sure of the count on the bodies. One for each pop might be cool but could end up really cluttered. Hard to say.

I would think the skull/spine would be considered one "toy".

That leaves the lock claw and of course the mysterious 'fourth'. I had been holding out hope for an actual chopper over the jungle hole, but the reveal of the skull curtailed that. Your guess is as good as anyone's at this point.

#3952 9 years ago

Will we see anything new at Allentown?

#3953 9 years ago

Thanks for the responses. I just remember them talking about interactive toys and no "bash" toys. The dangling bodies is a cool movie tie in, and the skull/spine is sweet, but really just decoration. I just want something with pizazz.

I still have a couple of these I'd sell at a premium

That post just made it click for me. The second pin is Hellboy. Write it down.

oh man... IF ONLY. Hellboy is my hands down favorite comic character.

I wish they would do just one more movie and wrap up the story. It is left so open after the second one and both movies were so good. They could tie things together perfectly with one more flick and have a pretty kick butt trilogy of movies.

Oh god no the second one is basically unfinishable. Tried to watch it in Hawaii, fell asleep. Watched it home turned it off. The first one is good the second I would not define as even OK, they ruined it.

No one counts the UV-illumination mode as a "toy"?

That's dangerously close to another comic book super hero theme.

Oh, that's true. Although, Hell Boy is more of an independent comic book theme; like Judge Dredd or the Walking Dead. They are a little different, in my view, from DC and Marvel (which I think many are generally burned out on after the back to back releases from Stern).

Same here. If this were the next pinball title or one other I adore, Chronicles of Riddick, I would be all in immediately!!! Of course, like others mentioned before, Firefly would get my immedaite order as well!

Punisher or Ghost Rider would be cool pins if they went dark enough. SPAWN as well.

stand up comedian Eddie Murphy pin. Non of that Dr doolittle crap.

#3969 9 years ago

"Big Brown Shark" multiball

I liked both Hellboy movies, but I prefer the second one. Feels more like Del Toro got to do what he want, with less studio intervention (the Meyers character).

Does anyone or maybe Kevin can answer this.... Is the shaker motor code going to be for a Stern shaker or some other type? I have a chance to get a Stern shaker, but do not want to waste my money on it if it will not work with Predator. Any help would be great!!!

I am almost positive you will be able to use a Stern shaker to work with the game no problem. But there is no real need to buy a shaker in advance unless it is at a great deal.

I believe it's the finalized placement of all the bits. As of last build they had made some hacks to some of the posts and such to fix spacing and game play. That probably white board probably represents a "gold" play field lay out.

That's awesome. I love seeing the "behind the scenes" progress. Thanks a lot for sharing, Kevin.

Here's a question I'm not sure if it's been asked or not. Is the game gonna come stock with protectors on the kickouts or possible problem areas such as ramps and drops?

I agree! That was a great pic from Kevin and team!. I am looking at that pic and thinking that is some multi day (late night's as well) brainstorming sessions. Probably a bunch of paper notes/records scattered around that we don't see...other pictures too for record purposes. Can you imagine what they are going through? Simply intense from what I can gather looking in from the outside. Nice to see they have their hearts in this project the way they do

Thanks from me too Kevin and team!

Good question I don't remember hearing anything about this type of stuff. I'm not sure why they don't go the route of putting a metal protector in the area the ball kicks onto the ramp like in the picture below. I know they say their ramps are pretty solid but it is concerning seeing an area where the ball drops on a plastic ramp with no protection.

Absolutely, plastic ramps are still prone to breakage. They definitely need something in that skull upkick. Was also thinking in the entrances of the ramps and the jungle kickouts. Not sure exactly where the ball drops out of the ramps but if it drops close to the edge of a switch slot it could use protection there.

**If I don't mention something, assume that I like/love it.**

I'm just going to say it... the blood on the skull looks bad. I hate how it's got this big drops of blood, it looks weird. It should be more "smeared" than dripped.

Is Arnold going to be fixed? Cause he just looks so wrong in that position. I know it's just the perspective, but it looks like he's only been working out the left side of his body for the last few years.

I'm assuming nothing about the inserts is final? Colors/locations? Since a few of them don't line up with the artwork.
