I would pay a bit extra also for magnets in this title. Probably a bit late in the planning stage at this point of development.

A full day without a single Predator post? What's going on? Hunting mode?
Just a quick update on Predator + ??? poll (Are you considering joining - or did you join - another pin project besides Predator?). Here is a short summary:
- Predator only : 6
- Predator + Nemo : 2
- Predator + WOZ : 1
- Predator + BHZA : 1 (was 2)
- Predator + P3 : 0
- Predator + Full Throttle (formely Circe) : 0
Not exactly statistically significant yet, with 10 answers only...

Predator #16
WOZ LE #102
Thats it for me
I second the "as much notification as possible" sentiment. Getting the cash isn't a big issue but I plan to have a launch party tournament and the Ifpa has to be notified a month in advance.
Quoted from playboywillis:You gotta keep in mind the cost of magnets.
That said, something like mist multi would be killer, except its being dragged up the playfield to the vuk
Too bad someone can't come up with an ala cart approach to pinball manufacturing. Start with a basic model and on features like magnets, extra "interactive" toys, extra ramp(s), etc. that can be added AFTER purchase. Like a shaker: buy a shaker, DIY install, turn the shaker option on in the menu.
Predator and WoZ for me, I know some people are anxious for the games to get finished but I have to sell a game when the new ones come so I don't care about when they get here, as I think the longer delay will result in a better game, hopefully more finished game.
Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:Should of called me! In a plumber. I could of used tht 1000 to pay for my pred!
Shame you don't live closer to south carolina, I am in desperate need of some plumbing work on the master bath, and don't really feel like doing it myself.
Quoted from jlm33:Update - Woz taking the lead:
- Predator only : 7
- Predator + WOZ : 5
- Predator + Nemo : 2
- Predator + BHZA : 1 (was 2)
- Predator + P3 : 0
- Predator + Full Throttle (formely Circe) : 0
I think with the higher WOZ production number vs the boutique runs (and cost) if the other pins, this outcome is pretty predictable.
Predator and 99% likely a full throttle for me.
The predator is just something i really fancy for myself and looks like its going to be awesome, but the heighway machines will be for site use (Motorbike theme dont really do it for me, but neither did circes really) - ive got one or two places where new shiny pins with fairly mainstream themes might do ok and i like the idea of only buying a couple or so cabs and changing out the pf's as and when new ones come out.
Im a little worried about getting in NIB sterns at the moment as I want a certain amount of reliability if im paying like 4 x the cost of an old bally/williams or 5-10 year old stern like i'd mostly use on site, keep hearing mixed reports ..
Ive got a fair idea of the possible 2nd and 3rd heighway themes and at least one is far more up my alley so to speak, so we'll see if i end up with one in the house eventually
Ill clarify this by saying i do have a small interest in heighway pinball, and will probably get slightly preferential trade type rates on their pins - so that probably influences my decision making here, so not sure if that counts in this poll or not, may be a little bias i dont know (?), but only fair to be up front about it.
As were in the predator thread, and i have read most but might of missed this, i do site a few pins here and there, is their software/hardware going to allow for a coin mech of some sort so i can site it if i want to , complicated even further by the fact im talking in UK currency?? - Dont laugh or tell me im mad, i sited an acdc bib le in a local club for a few months, so nothings sacred
Si
Has anyone seen or linked this before?
It's hilarious, search YouTube for 'Predator the Musical'

You mean this?
Shapeshifter - on my iPhone so not sure how to quite.
Anyway, it did ok for a low traffic site, it's only my local club and they don't get big traffic, which is one of the reasons I had no problem sticking a £6k pin there. It seemed like the more regular players weren't as keen as they were on some of the Bally/Williams stuff we've put there. Ive replaced it with a Williams Indy jones and takings are up so make of that what you will.
Just put two out in a new site, a pool hall with late drink license, DJ and lots of traffic (right in the heart of a student town with a massive university) so well see how that goes - I've given thema getaway and a T3 and said if it goes ok I'll stick in a scared stiff and something newer possibly.
If your atall curious my best site pin has been no good gofers, took really good money in not so good sites, never sited an Addams tho so that might beat it from what ops have told me..
Just watched Predator again on AMC today. Had to get a refresher course since i haven't seen it in a few years.
Cant wait!

was just gonna say, Predator is on AMC right now if anyone needs a refresher of how awesome this is going to be.

Predator #127 + Nemo for me.
Marcus
Update:
- Predator only : 11
- Predator + WOZ : 6
- Predator + WOZ + BHZA : 2
- Predator + WOZ + Avengers : 1
- Predator + Nemo : 3
- Predator + BHZA : 1 (was 2)
- Predator + Full Throttle (formely Circe) : 1
- Predator + P3 : 0
Interesting mix...not a single P3 lover ? On the other hand, 3 for Nemo is remarkable, given that only 30 will be produced at best.
(BTW: please do not double post to answer this poll - I can't check if answered already. May be I should have created a "true" poll in a separated thread.)
Quoted from jlm33:not a single P3 lover
I definitely love it, but $10k for a pin can kiss my arse no matter how good it is.

TAF always does well.
ACDC is awesome but takes time to get the rules.
FT is another that seems to do good on location.
And IM so I hear.
Quoted from simon:is their software/hardware going to allow for a coin mech of some sort so i can site it if i want to , complicated even further by the fact im talking in UK currency??
Predator will be route ready out-of-the-box here in the states. I don't know if you'll need a new coin door or just new coin mechs for UK currency, but I couldn't imagine it would be difficult to do. Of all the pre-orders we have, you would only be the second person that has mentioned routing/siting a Predator. I'll be very interested to see how it does in the wild
On the off-subject of routing pins, I've found that almost 100% of the time, older stuff beats newer stuff hands-down. I've had multiple locations where a Taxi sitting next to a Addams Family pulled in nearly twice as much regularly, and one of the best location pieces I've had was an old Police Force. Another big shock was Gottlieb's Mario Bros (set at one coin per play) at your average laundromat. Never underestimate a child-friendly theme in a place where annoyed parents have a pocket full of quarters to throw at their kids to get them to leave them alone for ten minutes.

Hey Kevin,
I would love to have Canadian coin mechs on mine if that's at all possible?
I know mechs for quarters wouldn't be an issue, but our games usually come with a 2nd larger slot for loonies or toonies ($1 & $2 coins). These may be harder to source or more expensive. I'd be willing to pay a few extra bucks if you guys would be willing to put them in. Makes the game feel more "complete".
Not a huge deal either way, but figured I would ask.
Quoted from Tweedlefuzz:Just a bump for those w/o FB
Hell yeah I love that artwork, can't wait to see the full finalized artwork
Is the red thing with the Predator symbols a set of inserts thats not on the white wood? or is it just gonna be art on the playfield?
Quoted from MagicMako:Is the red thing
It was said somewhere, I believe, that it may be what is going to show up in the UV light.
Quoted from blondetall:It was said somewhere, I believe, that it may be what is going to show up in the UV light.
To be clear, that was an assumption / guess I made that I do not believe has been confirmed.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:Is it just me or does the 'red thing ' look like a *****???? Could end up being like LOTR LE if you know what I mean......
hahaha
just you...
Quoted from SkitBPinball:An updated playfield map is a good idea. We'll probably get something like that up in a few days.
We're also going to create a email mailing list for everyone on the pre-order to formally show production numbers and let everyone know directly when an update is made or posted.
This is a great idea. Man, I'm pumped for this game! Question, how is the music score coming along? A games music is extremely important; an annoying score can be a really bad thing.
No. 37!!!!!
Quoted from Shapeshifter:Is it just me or does the 'red thing ' look like a *****???? Could end up being like LOTR LE if you know what I mean......
People who see Dicks on pinball machines are a bit 'suspect' in my opinion.....
Do you giggle yourself senseless when u see someone eat a banana?
