So, correct me if I'm wrong. But I'd imagine based on the picture of that controller that the ribbon cable supplies power to the various circuits contained within the PowerBlades. Given that, some enterprising person could come up with an interface to control those circuits based on game inputs. Similar to something like Total Lightshow (are you listening TimeBandit?)
If you could add true interactivity to game play beyond sound level control, it takes this product to a whole new level!
