For your Christmas themed pins... you missed the most obvious one: Die Hard!
Merry Christmas,
Todd A
I saw Taylor waiting in line to play GB and was intending to tap his shoulder and say hello... but, by the time I wrapped up some business he had disappeared!
Quoted from TaylorVA:Sorry to hear that. Really had a great time meeting new people and reconnecting when old friends. Please don't hesitate next time.
I did a walk through at the show and some interviews with some vendors that should be up by this weekend.
Yeah ... Bummer... I was placing an order with coin taker and the timing just crapped out. I had to leave about 45 min later to head back home...
You're hired, Tommy. If you're driving from north of Baltimore and heading south to see Taylor (this summer) swing by my house for a driving break... Maybe some lunch (?)... And some pinball!
Hell, Taylor could drive north and meet up... And you guys could show me a thing or two about how to play pinball!
This is confusing... I've heard of going from 0 to 60.... But this is like going from 6,000 to full on reverse!
Hope it's for happy reasons!
Great episode - I agree with what Taylor was saying (CF art). I do think his pinball art is exponentially better looking in person than through a photograph. That said, Taylor was able to articulate something that I’ve been thinking, but not toally sure how to verbalize.
Anyhow, was a fun listen as always - you guys are rock solid!
Well, damn. Was disappointed to hear TaylorVA hangup the microphone. This has consistently been my favorite pinball pod to listen to. You guys have great chemistry and your laidback approach keeps things authentic, which is really appealing.
Always looked forward to the next episode.
Taylor’s life mirrors mine in a lot of ways - my two daughters are about 4 years ahead of his... but I grew up in the DC area... used to hit the original 9:30 club for shows back in 80s and 90s... stay at home dad that also works from home... likes to deep dive into home improvement projects...Pinball fanatic. Not to be weird (because this paragraph probably does sound a tad weird ), but It was always good to hear him drop little snippets of his travels that in some ways mirrored things I’ve experienced.
Thanks for all of the entertainment over the years, gentlemen! Tommy, I hope you keep TFP alive. I’m sure there’s a lot of us that hope you stick around and share what’s going on in your pinball world!
