Fun show, Greg needs to play some Aerosmith with some people that know what they are doing though. While it's lacking on shots it has really good scoring strategy and also give you the option to complete a ramp shot or the lock shot if either are lit for a mode or if lock is lit. Maybe I missed it as I was working while listening but otherwise Emperor Ming is pretty pissed about his lack of inclusion. Some good ones on your list, I think WOZ is rated way to high though and TBL should have been on there.

Hey Emporer Ming needs to worry about his beautiful backglass ass flaking off haha. Brutally fun game though
I would have included Elvis. Has key shots to set up, start and complete heart break hotel mode. Also flow wise it is integrated well with the left ramp being a fast pass over or stopping point with that upper flipper. And unlike popeye you can still see the ball in the pops thanks to it being clear.

No, I'm not hating. I just started going one by one and realized it was going to be a huge wall of text. But we can address two of them. Aerosmith and GoT? Like, how do you enjoy them enough to see them make a top 10?

AS has great scoring and mode advancement chances by using the upper playfield as you complete elevator locks. You can risk timing out a mode while working on 2x, you can get 2x ready and save it for later, you can lock a ball in the toy box or complete a lit mode shot at the toy box kicker, or you can complete a lit mode shot at the ramp. It's a great tool for advancing modes with a very hard to hit ramp on the premium/le. It's really fast and the ball is not up there long so it doesn't slow down play much at all.
For GOT I just like that it has 2 full sized flippers and the little loop shot on the left if fun to hit. It definitely needs some code work to make the castle completion more important though.
You also have to factor in that I just pulled those off the top of my head. If I studied the list of games with upper playfields games 5-10 would likely be very different.
TFLE Ironhide gets my vote for worst.
GOT is a cool upper pf; but the rules associated with it dont mesh well with the rest of the games ruleset and in that, it kills the flow of the game...at least for me.

Big props on Shadow being #1....love that game. But, how could White Water not even make the list? That easily could have taken the top spot IMO.

WH20 "upper area" may be fun but it's not really a playfield (no stand ups, no inserts...). More of an upper level shot like No Fear or Escape from the Lost World...

I would disagree, it is literally a big wooden playfield with 2 shots and while it doesn't have many inserts it does have bulbs to tell you what to shoot to start a mode or advance next which serve the same purpose as insert.

Either way you're just trying to shoot it out of there in one shot...not much going on if the shot is missed and the ball is flopping around in that upper area...
The shots out of there are great (the ramps) but the actual playfield... not so much.
