    Hello All

Looks like there is a new pinball destination in the West 25th street area of Cleveland, Ohio.

    Pins Mechanical

From their web site looks like a happening place. Pins, duck pin, bowling, bocce. Haven’t been there yet but may head down there this weekend.

Anyone else been yet? How is it?

    And Cleveland now!!

Well this does not sound encouraging for a place that is new to the area. Sounds like they need a pinball tech bad! I mean what’s the purpose of having a game like The Big Lebowski if it is not working. Oh well, had my hopes up. Maybe just initial opening problems that will be worked out

    Quoted from chuckwurt:

Pins mechanical is definitely not for pinheads. They just can’t keep up with maintenance well enough.

Would have thought that this (maintenance) would have been built into the business model??

I went on the web and saw a few reviews of this Cleveland location. Sounds like they had some busy first days if you will. The common theme though is don’t go there for pinball. Same things that have been said here in this thread. Games not turned on, broken, not maintained well and very little room in that part of the establishment. Again, just can’t figure out that when this is one of the aspects of the business one is promoting how one could let them be in such a condition?? Guess I’m stupid for sure.

Would think that there would be an arrangement with a local tech in the area that would service them. Maybe as long as the taps are flowing they don’t care. Probably much higher profit margin on the drinks. If this is the case then they are just another bar. Why try and differentiate oneself with all the neat aspects of the business and then let those aspects fall apart. Especially when the business is new in the area?

Even out by me there is a Round 1 and they have about ten sterns and I have yet to see any turned off or play that poorly. Ok. Enough of my rant
