Quoted from CitznFish:Space 1999 was awesome! There was one episode that scared the crap out of me as a kid.
Only one!? You have a thick skin. Remember several episodes that I found really scary...

Quoted from Shapeshifter:What you are forgetting is that this forum is read all over the world in many different countries and you are losing more than just USA customers.
Popcorn?!
I won't say anything about thunderbirds as there might be a few Frenchs interested in that Pin. But if I were to say what I think about it, France would be banned, together with Monaco, Luxemburg and Andorra as collateral damage...
Best thread since SW-or-close-to-reasonable-offer
Quoted from FatAussieBogan:Email him this oversight. Mike appreciates feedback from his north American customers.
LMFAO !!
Quoted from Homepin:I won't waste my time explaining further as some simply will not listen but I do invite ANYONE who is interested enough to get a ticket and land in Hong Kong to visit my factory. I will meet them at the airport and they will be my guest.
I will for sure! I am collaborating with one University in Hong-Kong and will be happy to visit... 2 comments though:
1) Even if HK is now part of China, I have been several times to HK and mainland China and would consider both places as still fairly different... HK$ vs Yuan, drive on the left vs right, I do not need a visa for HK, English is spoken everywhere... I would not mind living in HK.
2) Ever visited the American Pool in HK? That's the arcade I know with the largest number of pins - 4 last time I visited -. Good place to put the first Thunderbirds pin on location!
Quoted from TigerLaw:As a reminder to everyone, Pinside rule number one is be nice. If you can't be nice please leave the thread. If you feel you have to get the last word in and be rude, you will receive a ban vote. Thank you and I hope everyone is having a good start to 2014.
And good luck to all Pinside moderators for 2014!
I foresee a busy year for them...
Interesting read, thanks for sharing. Seems serious!!
But I would have expected a lower price than the figures provided: AU$8000 (US$7500, £4400)
Quoted from Homepin:Like I mentioned earlier, I am happy to update the thread with new information
Please do!
Quoted from Homepin:Thunderbirds is not "for old men" - far from it. It is a family friendly show that has wide appeal.
Looking back at the poll, I probably voted "Thunder-who" two years ago. I had a souvenir of Thunderbirds and my initial reaction was negative.
And then... I slowly understood why Thunderbirds make sense.
It has a distinctive graphic signature and the pin will be instantly identified by old-timers, and may still be interesting for younger generations. It is also super-family friendly. I think we can also expect funny looking toys matching the theme.
I am curious to see how the theme will be integrated in the game - it should be fun.
In other words, if I could take back my vote, I would.
Quoted from Shaneus:Not wonderful news from the Homepin camp
Sad. Thanks for sharing.
