Is it Wayne-o by any chance

Hay I'm just glad there is someone else you are bagging on

#423 10 years ago
Quoted from AkumaZeto:

His latest rant.

Looks like he is violation of a Williams Patent on his flipper opto Board
Now owned by PPS, Telling a Patent holder to get stuffed will end up in Disaster.

New Heading will be PPS Aquires Thunderbirds License

#426 10 years ago

Not my problem

But i can see some Lawyers making a few thousand dollars out of that mess.

More money spent on Lawyers less parts for everyone.

Yes, Keith is right

I transferred full ownership of 78 US patents i bought from WMS to PPS

WMS no longer owns them, and they cost a fortune to renew, about $4k each for the 12 year renewal.

So why would you let someone make something or use it in a game without paying a licensing Fee.

#461 10 years ago

yes and a new Mad Max Fury Road movie is coming out as well in 2014

Looks like he is copying Williams parts, leg plates and coils etc, copy from the best, even Stern has their own parts.

Pity his Hankin clones are nothing like the Originals

You know China Same same but different a thousand different ways.

I hope they are not like Zizzle or those licensed Gottlieb King of Diamonds remakes from China

Where is Cameron silver when you need him?.

#1699 7 years ago

Who cares where it is made, if made in Australia it would be $15,000 trust me I know

There are a lot of parts in Sterns made in China and Taiwan, most parts from Happ are from Asia

Didn't stern make NBA in china?

king of Diamonds remake and Zizzle Games??

As long as quality is ok.

In Australia we have people selling arcade games made in Australia, using flats packs or 99% parts from China

Quoted from oldskool1969:

I care and make a conscious decision to buy Australian when possible.

Well you are buying American now, and not supporting Australia so how is it any different??

#1712 7 years ago
Quoted from wiredoug:

yep to this day we pay 5% duty on pins .. all container pins . all new sterns..

No we don't pinball are duty free

#1713 7 years ago
Quoted from Homepin:

That's exactly what we are testing for now. We are experimenting with different types and mixes of plastic to hopefully find the best one for this job.

Nylon and glass mix

#1715 7 years ago

Well its not made in Australia, and if it was they would have to be commercial qty, then the manufacturer can apply for duty to be charged on imports, same reason why car duty will be dropped in 2017. As we will no longer make cars here.

They should use all the car duty and inject back into the car industry but stopped doing that.

Also Hankins lost money making pinballs even with mostly imported parts they used

#1717 7 years ago

Pinball coin operated is duty free, Tarrif concession

#1718 7 years ago

No that Tarrif is duty free

#1719 7 years ago

Also free trade agreement USA-Australia still no duty

#1720 7 years ago

TC 8802725

#1725 7 years ago

I buy millions a year, I do know what I am talking about

if you are paying duty get a new customs broker

#1728 7 years ago

Type in 8802725 then Page 30 on your link

#1729 7 years ago

Yep your wrong

Try and claim back all the duty paid, you bring in, you mean marc? Unless you now own marks business

#1730 7 years ago

Argue Monday after you call your broker

#1732 7 years ago

All good if your broker can suck 5% out of you they will

#1740 7 years ago

If you listen to my partner, I am always wrong. So I Can frame this

#1741 7 years ago

There is something about arcade game interactive duty free and juke boxes coin operated are duty free, non coin operated are 5%
