How about a negative choice, like don't care...because personally, I think it's a lame idea. But, maybe soon they'll do something actually interesting like Death Race or Mad Max.

Quoted from Rarehero:Team America was an homage/spoof of Thunderbirds by the creators of South Park

In a really twisted way, it makes so much sense...ROFL
Quoted from txstargazer3:Thunderbirds was and is great! However, I don't think Jack and Gary are slapping their foreheads and saying "How did that one get away from us?" It is cool, but doesn't have the broad appeal a company needs for a first pin. That being said, I'm very curious to see how this theme gets executed. Could be really cool!
Waste of time and money if you ask me.
Quoted from Ballypinball:Looks like he is violation of a Williams Patent on his flipper opto Board
Now owned by PPS, Telling a Patent holder to get stuffed will end up in Disaster.
New Heading will be PPS Aquires Thunderbirds License
God I hope not...who the hell would do a Thunderbirds game?
If a new MFG wanted to try to break in from Australia, maybe Mad Max would be a good choice...just sayin'...
Quoted from DirtyDeeds:Honestly tomorrow morning I have to go down the roads where Mad Max 1 was filmed - the back of Werribee Victoria, ie: near Little River
That's awesome! All those movies were huge world wide, and I would certainly say the first one has a much larger cult following than thunderbirds. At least people know what you're talking about when you say it.
But, maybe it's just too expensive of a license or something, although I can't imagine it's anymore than predator.
Quoted from RGR:JJP #3.... Mad max... how good would that be
Or deathrace, those are two titles that I can't believe haven't been done yet. The theme and rule options are pretty deep for both, have massive appeal worldwide for pinballs demographic, and toy options are huge.
Anyway, back to Thunderbirds...I guess.
Quoted from s1500:I don't remember seeing much info/hype about Metallica prior to the release. I look at this thread & the Predator thread, and now I see why.
Comparing marionettes to metallica and predator? Not really the same in my book, but hope it goes well for them!
