TPF was a blast and thanks for inviting me to put my Congo in your lineup. I'm a hard guy to impress but I am a true believer in Pinstadiums now. Incredible product because it is totally customizable. The quality is top notch and those people that think they can put a $10 strip of LEDs and get the same result have no idea about this product. You get what you pay for. Keep up the great work and it was good meeting you at TPF and finally trying out Pinstadiums. Already looking forward to next year.

Quoted from TheCapn:

Hey everyone! Pin Stadium is now on my WCS. I got a before and after pic here, and a video review that just went public. Enjoy.

I'm pretty sure I just got called a snob.

Quoted from JDub03:

Anyone installed these in a Gottlieb? I think these would look awesome in a Stargate with the UV on. My playfield pops big on the color LEDs I put but the GI is still dark on that machine. Would love to add some pop on and contrast on it.

I will eventually be putting them on my Waterworld when I do a playfield swap. Who knows when that will be but I figure with the blues and oranges in the playfield, it should pop.

Where and how do you do the graphics on the color wheel? I didn’t see any reference to that on the site.

Quoted from LTG:

https://pinstadium.com/app-faqs/
Put the app on your phone or something, link with the Pinstadium in your game. Adjust away.
LTG : )

I have it working. I am taking about the game logo in he middle of the color wheel.

Quoted from pinstadium:

Oh sorry that's me being doing some things on my end with the graphics and app, this is not yet part of the latest version of the app. I am doing some design experimenting and just posting that for reference. I am working on a whole new version of the Pin Stadium app as we speak that is much cooler!

Oh. Lol
No wonder I couldn’t figure it out.

Quoted from FlippyD:

Scott, you should make a lockdown receiver sticker that’s neon and bright. After owning these for months I still lift the pf and bash the lights from time to time. The invis shields don’t like it either, and they add to the problem by making the ligths so stealthy.
“REMOVE PS BEFORE RAISING” might not fit but some icons or a logo that says the same thing would rock.

Should make the module beep like when you leave the keys in the ignition of your car and open the door. Lift the lockdown bar and the alarm goes off. Lol

Just put these in my TOM. Awesome!
Anyone do Congo?
Where is connection for Houdini?

I have a Congo (for sale) and they look amazing. It’s cool how selecting different colors really make different parts of the art really pop. I hooked the flasher to the satellite flasher

I say anyone that has put their game in the Pinstadium booth at a show should get first dibs.

Quoted from pinstadium:

You don’t see these that often on the F-14. I’m really glad you posted that up and thanks for being a huge supporter of the product. 6 sets is a lot!!
Yes I promise the next big reveal to surely please and dazzle you even more. I find myself continually drawn back to my IMDN with them installed, just to see them in action. Just can’t get enough of it.
Coming super soon folks!!!

Come on man, you are killing us.

Quoted from DudeRegular:

The vid could certainly be more descriptive. My take is it replaces flashers with the new app controlled modules. I could be way off though.

Yeah a lot of special effects in the videos but no information on what the heck it is. In the description is says “invisible discrete mount under existing Pinstadium’s” but I don’t see where it says this is a stand alone product or the Pinstadium lights are required.

Might be a great product but just from the responses above it is a marketing miss.

#2845 5 years ago

Ok. I have seen nothing in any of the explanations that say that the belt actually interacts with the Pinstadium’s. Could you not just hook this up as a stand alone option?

#2932 5 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

Funny, I play with standard lighting and standard LEDs (often even remove LED flashers to reinstall incandescent when they are too bright) and have absolutely zero problem with knowing when a flasher goes off and what it means. The pinstadium junk over powers the normal flashers, hence the upsell to return the flashers to a level that is noticable. You swing it as marketing and a new offering (nevermind the insane prices on this junk).
I look at it as another great reason to remove the junk from a game all together.
Better yet, if anyone really thinks a game is too dark, a few simple spot lights can be added for $20. Benefit that they also dont blow out artwork, blind a player, make you lose the ball, or cost as much; and you can position them exactly where needed.

So you don’t like the Pinstadium’s? Then why are you even in this thread? Oh yeah...TROLL

Small hint for you. This “junk” has a brightness control so you can turn the “damn” bright lights down.

Go troll someplace else.

#2935 5 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

It is a pinball forum talking about pinball and in this case a mod for a game.
Sharing an opinion on a product is not trolling.

It is when you do it with your style. How many times did you call the product junk? There is no need for that. You can share your opinion without being......well....you. Stop pretending. You know you came in here to be a troll. You are never gonna change.

#2937 5 years ago
Quoted from Marvin:

which was made as a joke for the olympics.

If you turn them down they weren't really needed in the first place were they?

I have the white set at 25% and the color set at 75%. And it gives the exact look I want without being too bright. So yes, they were needed.

#2939 5 years ago
Quoted from Whysnow:

I called it junk 3 times. I find it to be a junky product.
I was honestly excited to see what it could be when it was announced originally, but after seeing it in person, the many games on route where it is falling apart, and now that it needs a new strobe add-on due to over powering the regular ones, it reinforces the issues with this product.
There is a legit problem with some games that are just to dark or have poor factory lighting.
Sadly this product is not the answer for the price/ quality.

seems silly to be "needing" this product and then turning it down to 25% brightness.
this seems like a really easy way to add lights exactly where needed for a dim pf, at a fraction of the cost, and bonus that the flashers are still completely noticeable.[quoted image]

Yeah. Those spotlights look awesome. Lol
I have the improved look and the UV glow flasher. I’m done with you. Back to Pinstadiums. In case you didn’t get the hint, that’s your cue to leave.

Are there any issues with the manga mounts sticking to Stern art blades? They kinda have that grainy finish which usually doesn’t lend itself for sticking.

I did a search on Batman 66 in this thread and only saw one suggestion for the UVglow and that was the center Pop bumper. Just curious since that was a year ago if anyone else has found a better location as I am getting ready to install my new set on BM66

Thanks

Quoted from JimFNB:

Hilton doing his thing in that other thread.
One of his arguments has always been about TNA and Scott Danesi’s thoughts on its lighting. Scott was in your booth at TPF, iirc.
What’d you guys talk about? If you don’t mind me asking ...

Lets stop and think about all the things that Hilton has supported over the years. Most have failed or been scams. So him bashing Pinstadiums is like a positive advertisement for them.
