Being on the other side of the earth, time difference can stuff you up, is the Expo voucher still valid?

I have a JPLE coming, hopefully currently on a boat, and know already it’ll benefit from some extra lighting. I too didn’t realise the Omegas came with UV, was convinced I wanted the versatility of the RGB’s. Now not sure.

For the record I don’t own any Pinstadiums but have seen first hand what a product similar to them can do. Anyone who clearly disregards their potential benefit when used approximately has rocks in their heads.

I've just removed some pinstadiums from a pin I'm selling and it's left a mess behind on the mirror blades. Looks like a mixture of foam and some type of adhesive. Has anyone got any tips on best way to remove?

Lighter fluid for like a zippo?? How does that work??

#6417 3 years ago
Quoted from pinstadium:

I would try some 90% or higher rubbing alcohol first and if not then some of the adhesive remover on a rag.

Ok thanks.

Quoted from pinstadium:

No problem at all and glad to help you.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the alcohol did absolutely nothing. It almost felt like the foam was super glued to the mirror blades. A previous set was difficult but I was able to remove it with only moderate elbow grease. This one however was something else. Worst thing, I ran out of time trying to fix it, the courier arrived and I had to allow my Attack From Mars LE to leave for its new owner a mess. He's disappointed (understatement), and I am really upset. I love Pinstadiums, but what ever you guys use for adhesion has really screwed me.

As per previous messages, I’ve just sold my AFMLE which looked outstanding with Pinstadiums. I removed them prior to the sale and today put them in my restored Funhouse, really happy with the result.

I'm assuming I'm running the same "export" model.

There are 2 options. CN11 (ticket) from you the board next to you coin door, or CN6 on the power distribution board?? in the Backbox. Both output 12v, both will need appropriate plugs.

#7331 2 years ago
Quoted from Nepi23:

Thanks! Maybe as a interim solution I will just take the power from the wall. I will need to see if there is somewhere appropriate plugs for sale to get this done properly though!

If you purchased your Pinstadiums to suit a Spike 2 system, it will be supplied with a plug to fit CN6 in the back box. Just make sure your polarity is correct, from memory, red (+ve) is on the bottom.
