Quoted from Mando:

I am going to need advice on where to tie my flashers in ...

No Good Gofers
Stern SW
Metallica(clearly sparky insert)
Maiden
TSPP

I have Orion's Belt with Pin Stadiums on SW & IMDN, and Fusions on MET. You might want to consider this upgrade if you haven't already ordered...especially on these 3 pins!

#4054 5 years ago

Fusions are arriving and there a lot of people install them in various machines along with Baby Pin Stadiums for Munsters. So here is the recommended setup that I can at TPF which did really fell. Of course always feel free to explore and let me know what combinations you found that you like. This is a good place to start:

Dragula flasher (left side): UV+Glow
Shaker Motor: White
Spot flasher(under left ramp): Blue
Lily flasher(right side): Green

Last flasher cable not used but you can if you want.

And the picture below shows how to install the Baby Pin Stadiums. You will simply start at the bottom of the green arrow and insert (slide) the light bars parallel next to the top plastic (there are 3 total) nearest to the large playfield. Put the lights in at a 45 degree angle so that the Gi and UV+Glow shine equally on the mini playfield. These will simply pressure fit in and you will not use any Magna-Mount. Just side them carefully along side of the entire length of the lower playfield in between the plastic and the PCB insert boards on each side.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask as I have the Munsters LE and can help you very easily to get them installed.

Here are better pics thanks to a customer install them in his LE! Notice a slight bend on the light bar on the right, that just fine. Just be careful of the connectors on the pcb board to the right. Gently glide the light bars past them in between the lower plastic and the boards.

I have had several ask about the status of Fusion after TPF and if they are sold out or if there are schedule runs of them planned. They are now a permament fixture of the Pin Stadium product line and will continually be available since they have been such a great hit!!

Please allow 7-10 days for them to ship as they take much longer to produce and are much more involved. Here is the link to place your order for them: https://pinstadium.com/product/pin-stadium-fusion/

Also just to clarify, the Fusions are a combination of the popular Pin Stadiums w/UV+Glow flasher and Orion's Belt, which adds an additional set of 4 Wifi controllable flashers you can dialed in to any color/brightness within the Pin Stadium app. The light show is out of this world astounding and guaranteed to rock your world exactly how you would like!

I want to thank you all again for the great support for the product!!

I am making updates to the Pin Stadium website to make it easier to navigate, offer more features with simpler detailed instructions, and finally a better/easier/quicker shopping experience. Feel free to check out the progress at your leisure: www.pinstadium.com

There is now much better organization with the products so that you can sort between Pin Stadiums and Accessories. Before they were combined together and among each other. Now it is nice and clean with a much better experience.

Anyways, just updating you all with the enhancements that are being made on the website. I also am working on integrating additional payment methods Google Pay and Apple Pay for an easier checkout process if you like using those methods. This will be in addition to the current wide variety of credit card options too!!

With the 1.4 KISS update, the game is now deserving of Pinstadiums (before/after shots). Love the new code...

Another post in this thread suggested connecting the flasher to "Back Panel Flash - L #156". I tried and it's not working (poor connection I imagine...I tried placing the wire probes in the connector). Has someone had success hooking up this flasher on KISS? I don't want to solder it directly, since I prefer mods that are easily reversed. Thanks for any help!

Absolutely beautiful looking and I really appreciate you sharing these. I have not personally hooked them up on KISS but I know DerGoetz and Azgym would be able to offer some help with the best location to connect the UV+Glow flasher.

In regards to it not firing, it could be that the flasher you tried hookkng up to may have a bad socket but my guess is the connection just need to be redone. Feel free to contact me and send pics as I can walk you through it if you need help.

Nice
I guess there's no way to lower brightness on the UV glow is there? Looks great on the Wolverine flasher, but when Berserker Rage is flashing it's a little overwhelming.
Great product btw!

The new Fusions will allow you to adjust brightness on the flashers.

https://pinstadium.com/product/pin-stadium-fusion/

In regards to the Pin Stadiums with the UV+Glow:
The flashers are driven by the pinball machine and the brightness is determined by how the machine pulses them like in the mode you mentioned.

The general rule is that if the pulse is short and fast then the characteristic behavior of the LED is to load fast and then fade quickly thus resulting in a bright flash. In the scenario that the pulse is slow then the effect is more of a softer glow. Different machines pulse differently and inside of those machines each flasher is controlled uniquely too.

I always suggest moving it around to one that you feel is appropriate for your tastes. Most find after a couple days of installing the Pin Stadiums they get acclimated to the brightness of the UV+Glow too. I hope that helps!

I found the perfect flasher for Deadpool Pro. The pop flasher right under the NINJA word. It's just right. No seizure inducing flashes when a particular mode starts up.

I already posted this in the JJP POTC thread so if you already saw it there sorry for the repeat. Not sure if anyone has installed Pin Stadiums on their POTC. I installed the Fusions and love them. If anyone has any interest about the how and why I connected what to what I’d be more than happy to share. Sorry about the bad video, took them on my one so 1 handed game play. Let me know and I can share. I continue to tweak them.
Thanks for the Awesome product Scott!

Got the Fusion installed in my AFMr today and it’s looking really great. Thanks to Chris for some quick help this morning with what turned out to be user error.

Going to post a video soon but am looking for some help tying this into the center arrow flasher. It looks like that flasher doesn’t have a tappable wire in the path, it’s all surface mount. Anyone confirm that or let me know where I can tap into it?

Thanks!

The best way to tap the flasher is with the wire taps like this. It’s also listed under the Chicago Gaming/AFMR link in Step 1 of the Pin Stadium website https://pinstadium.com/installation-instructions/ in case anyone is also looking for this You will simply tap the yellow and purple wires like this.

Okay now see which connection you are trying to make thanks for clarifying. I have not attempted to connect it to that but likely that is an onboard SMD (Surface Mount Diode) on the PCB. You would likely have to solder the wire taps to the + and - on that then clip onto it from there. I’ve done it with the left spinner on Deadpool but I recommend being comfortable with fine soldering and be sure to properly trace the schematics on the legs of the LED. I have that machine if you want to attempt it I can try to help.

Per the suggestion of many, I have put up a easy to understand Pin Stadium product comparison chart on the website that defines the features between Pin Stadium, Orion's Belt, and Fusion. Thanks for the great suggestions and I have additionally created a "First Time Buyer" FAQs section to help those that are new to the Pin Stadiums and considering them for their collection. Recently in the last couple of days there has been a high influx of two popular pinball machines for Pin Stadiums POTC and AC/DC. A few have asked for the best locations for triggering the UV+Glow flasher on JJP POTC is the shaker motor. Also by request some great before and after pics in a pitch black room.

For AC/DC any of the lighting bolt standup targets rock and will be sure to impress you. Here is a video of them in action on what would seem to be a rather well lit game to the untrained eye but with the darker artwork on AC/DC (very similar) come alive like no other with the Pin Stadiums installed. The glass glare prior to the install is an big issue for most due to this and the glare disappears even at 70% brightness on the app settings. Notice the significant balance and brightening results on the center of the playfield and even the lower one. Very cool to see in person!

Thank you for the kind words and I am glad I as able to help you guys out. That is superb that you were able to capture the Orion's Belt flasher portion of the Fusions with such precision. This is an excellent representation of the results of this on Munsters and even more so the Munster B&W playfield of the Premium. The white in the artwork allows for some eye boggling results.
