Thought I would share some pictures of the test fit prior to the big game.
Each valve cover is custom cast metal - plated then black is added between the ribs of the cover.
Numbers are cut out and back filled with red transparent resin.
These look great on their own or on the colored lane guide plastics like picture 3 from laseriffic.com
These will be out in March so let me know if you'd like to be on the pre-list (no money upfront ever).
Thanks for your support....keep watch for new GOT mods coming in March also.

Kit of two covers will be $34.95 plus shipping. *** now shipping 3-18-16 hookedonpinball.com****

302 or 429 would be better for a mustang theme...

Bad reviews aside, Im a huge Mustang fan and hope to one day own this game. Love the mod, nice work. Im sure the "351" is changeable to meet peoples needs? Nice addition!

Hooked, I concur with the other guy. 302 and 429 should be the choice. The 351 Boss was only available in 1971.

302 is a much more universal choice. I'm just nitpicking as I'm a Mustang owner and a Ford ex employee.

I know its easy to armchair a mod I do it too....but two things I considered.
Part of the game is the celebration of Mustangs unique motors and style ...look at the side of the back box all of the engines represented.
I really wanted 289 but too many "o"s in there
Ever try to cut out a 0689 out of metal and leave the center of the o portion there and fill it in with color?

I owned two Fox bodies with the 5.0L which was great yet I always wanted a 351 swap out or even a stroker 347.
I'll just have to settle for my 351 slings.

Thanks
Few new shots added up top ...its really hard to get the lighting on a chrome product

Love the valve cover. I only say this because I've been racing my 84 Capri (Mercury Mustang) with a 351 Windsor for years. I don't have a Mustang machine but will probably get a few of these anyway. Great job!

#21 8 years ago

I always wanted a Capri just for those factory wheel flares.
We had a guy with a 85 Capri with wing doors and a Mustang LX flat hatch...very cool.
Then there was the StangTruck aka modern Rancharo running around...ah the good old days.
