Metallica (Premium)
Stern, 2013Friend of mine on here is making a different hammer for Metallica premium/LE.
spinny-vinny is his pinside name.
This is the prototype,still need to make some fitment changes.
Then it will get custom painted and tested on my LE.
Gauging interest before he makes more.
Or suggestions for other versions.
Original and Aurich hammer shown for scale.

I'm definitely interested in a hammer mod for my MET Premium, but not a big fan of this (or any generally) skull design. My preference would be for a more basic looking hammer similar to Aurich's.
That said, I'm sure this mod will be very popular and wish to thank you and your friend for developing this!

Since you asked. I would prefer a cleaner version. One where it is just wood grained and has the rivots. Only potential problem with that is it would be getting super close to the version Aurich did. His contact apparently is never going to do this as it seems to be dead in the water. Maybe you two could work out a deal to basically mold his version and make a few minor changes to it.
I'd bet you and your friend would sell a ton of them like that.

Well if he can't make it move I'd pay way more. But I'd take a stationary.

The one with the spikes is Aurich's hammer.
I bought that a few years ago.
No longer available,only 30 made.
We would not copy his design,Vince would do his own thing.
Here are some more prototypes,still test fitting and Vince needs to paint them up.
Vince has a fist,traditional hammer and the skull hammer in the works.
Thinking of adding LED's to the skull version,just adding a led strip inside to light it up,cut out the eyes in the skull.

They all will be hand painted.
Well sign me up as interested. I'd like to see how those two land painted and installed. Not too keen on the fist but that's just my personal taste. The other two look great. With some sick paint apps it could really put them over the top.
Tough choice. Both look great and are a vast improvement over the stock hammer. I think I like the skull a bit better.

My attitude is that I had my window to do it, I didn't, and if someone else wants to step up and fill that void I can't possibly be mad about it. I wish this project nothing but luck and success with my blessing if anyone cares about that.

It's special And going back in my game after these are tested.
Those are just SIIIIICK! 
I love the LEDed skull version. Do the LEDs only light when the hammer lock is ready?
