Dear Ladies & Gentlemen,
Stern Pinball has posted new Metallica code Version 1.6 for all models. This code contains bug fixes, adjustments and a new mode based upon the song “Blackened” that is earned by collecting all band members.

This time leave it total factory settings and don't set replay as extra ball.
You're obviously a good player, keep it three balls.

Being competitive, if you keep it stock standard, you'll be able to compare your score with KME and other top players who also keep their games stock standard. (Or maybe even have no extra balls at all)
With Metallica in particular, the last ball (which is the "extra" ball..) is the gravy ball. Because the previous 4 balls (3 stock plus extra from the scoop) have set everything up for the 5th ball to cream it.

Stupid internet connection!
What happens is that the Internet where I live is pretty slow and for some reason the posts seems to resubmit themselves. Only happens occasionally.
Oh well, seeing as we're having a pissing contest (lol) this was my third game on the new code.
Not a bad first ball.
It included a 135m Fade to Black and a few nice multiballs. No Blackened in this game but I was a few picks away from the 4th member.
Then I had to leave to get to a job and didn't finish the game. Oh well, another day tomorrow.

It sure does! Nice game.
It sure can be brutal at times though. I have games where Sparky hurls three balls right down the guts.
I don't know why anyone would buy a new Ironman instead of Metallica Pro... as cool as Ironman is, Metallica is 3x the game.
