I'm proud to announce the immediate availability of a new product - namely #6-32 nyloc nuts which are anodized in 7 colors. This has been on my todo list since another vendor announced the Aluminum nuts. I decided at that time to let his product garner some support and see how he faired. He has since disappeared and the product has seen some issues.

People have reported that the anodization easily removed with a nut driver or wrench. Additionally; there have been reports that the nut's thread are easily stripped out given they were made out of aluminum.

To address these concerns; I've acquired a small test batch of #6-32 nuts in Grade 5 Titanium. Why Titanium? Titanium is actually stronger than steel and can also be anodized. The difference is that the anodization is actually much denser than Aluminum Oxide and the color is achieved via an interference pattern. This means the anodization is NOT achieved via a pigment dye.

Unfortunately; Titanium is also much more expensive and difficult to machine vs steel or Aluminum.

I attempted to strip out the threads in a sample of these nuts and actually ended up breaking off the star drive in the screw I was using rather than stripping the thread out of the nut.

I want to get real, honest feedback from the pinball community; so, I have made some limited quantities in only #6-32 nyloc nuts. No flanges. No other sizes.
If the market test is successful; I'll look at doing #8-32 and potentially other fastener types.

    Quoted from NightTrain:

    How many nuts for $13.95?

3 nuts for 13.95 - as I stated; titanium is expensive.

    Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

I didn’t keep up with it but I’m going to take a wild guess and assume it’s the Chinese guy who was posting about “color your nuts” and he’s the one who ghosted?
Where are these made? I’ve been actively trying to support good business and buy American when possible.

I don't know if the guy who ghosted is "Chinese".

All I can say is I am not and these were built to my design specs for pinball-mods.com. That said; the nuts are not made in the usa - They were finished here and The kits are packaged and assembled here in the State of TX.
