Central Illinois sucks! The closest pins I want are always at least 6 hours away so Im always stuck buying off a picture. Been lucky so far, had about 7 machines in the last 4 years, all from ebay. I know, what about chicago, maybe its just bad timing. Congrats on all of you who live in an area with fellow pinheads!Im very depressed right now but Ill probably get over it. I hope your day is better than mine!

    hang in there...

You can try switching places with us Canadians and then you might not feel so bad.
The great pinball void seems to start north of the 49th parallel. Lately it seems like I've been seeing so much posted in the mid-west it's almost nauseating. The grass is always greener
Maybe it's just the titles you're after? What are you hunting?

I am with you Drano. I just got back from Fairbanks to pick up some pins. It was over 6 hours each way. Had to go past Mt.McKinley. Not a lot here.

I feel for you. I spent the first 20 years of my life in Springfield. But at least we had an arcade at the mall. Doubt it is still there.

At least the scenery must have been nice
I've been looking around here for a decent FT for a little while now and nothing! And it's not even a very hard pin to find; normally.

I was wondering how the hell you guys get so many pins up there. I've been to Fairbanks and there's not much there.
