Weird, I was told by a reliable source (Dumpster Dan behind Dollar Tree) that leds in pinball were a government conspiracy to melt your brain. Luckily for the both of us, the local pizza store had plenty of shields leftover in their dumpster (used aluminum foil with a piece of peperoni or two). I will have to look into this Facebook page further and get to the bottom of this!
