The theory is the felt reflective backing keeps heat and pressure off of the cabinet. Felt, leg light-up, leg and bolts, I don't see it to be a problem.

None. There is felt used as a buffer between leg protectors and the game. Zero contact

I've had them on game as long as a year and a half and I don't see any problems. But I'm sure you seen guys get really physical with games so this may over time have a very, very small effect (wrinkls, gouges) but they won't be any where near as bad as if you had metal on wood. Just make sure you check the tighness of your leg bolts every now and then. My mod will also go over the stock Stern protectors, but the aftermarket metal ones are better, in my opinion then my plastic will not come into contact with the decal or the wood.

So I bought @ff6735's Metallica pro a couple of weekends ago, and he already had @mustangpaul's leg lights installed... when I get the new pin home and set it up next to my X-Men, something was definitely lacking... So, of course the resolution is a quick PM to Paul and voila... now my X-Men looks just as cool as my Metallica!

Thanks for the kind words Joe, much appreciated. My and Beatmasters mods entirely change the look of games don't they. Do you have room for more games? You know how addictive this hobby is. 
Hey Frank it's about time. Now you have the complete light up package. Dang your game looks sharp. I see the clear leg bolt washers I supply with every kit also light up too. I have his and my mod on all my games now. My main row of 8 looks killer so does the row of 4 across from it. I still only have all 4 legs lit up one one game, my GB Pro because that's the only game that's exposed on the end of the row of 4. Thanks for posting.

I had 4 of his mods for about the same time and I just put them AND my mod on the last 4 games to have them so don't feel bad.
I just installed MustangPaul LED Leg Light-Up's along with
beatmaster LED Shooter Housing on my KISS LE. I was considering using a contrasting color but chose to accent all of the red in the cabinet. I really think it pops! #kiss-stern-le

Oh man it looks like your games are ready to take off any second now. Your games are nicely highlighted in your gameroom now, not like dark boxes. Beatmasters shooter housing light up is icing on the cake. Thank you sooooo much for posting. Can you show everyone how you got power for our mods? I know it was a learning curve for a noob but you did it and learned something. Congrats, job well done.

Mustang Paul , this is what I wanted to show you- stress cracks- not breaks- in my newly installed leg light-ups on my players condition BoP. The legs had put groves into the cabinet and when I installed the leg light-ups they cracked. I then installed the black leg protecter under the leg light-ups and this seems to have stopped further stress cracks.
Just a little wisdom. On my BoP small stress fractures occured , they are cosmetic the material is solid. I should have just installed over my leg protectors because my cabinet had deep ruts in it from the legs. I installed some on my CFTBL with no leg protectors and no problems what so ever, the cabinet is in much better shape. No worries . You've got an excellent product . I love my games with the Leg Light-ups. Its amazing what they do to make them so attractive....Play Me!!!!!!! Thanks

I'm pleased to announce the addition of the color Ice Blue to my offered colors. Red, blue, green, purple, amber, white and now Ice Blue. The shade of blue falls between blue and white.

Yeah it's about time you go them on. And on your Gorgar you didn't follow my advise about running the wires through the cabinet speaker hole did you.
