I think Stern handled most of the artwork. They don't design their own stuff. Stern pays a flat fee for the license.

Does anyone know why Gene would start counting down? I assume its a hurry up, just not sure what i was supposed to shoot for? And it was during Love Gun mb.

Yes it's fast scoring. I'm not quite sure how it's activated. Maybe a scoop award?

I gotta say, this game feels a bit more polished now. It felt very unfinished to me before. Im actually digging playing it again!

I now actually choose different songs to start with.

Seems way more balanced now.

And yet you can blow the game up with a 20x SJ in KA MB. Insane.

Course I haven't come close to doing it but just knowing it's there is exciting

V1.41.0 - December 11, 2018

- Renamed an adjustment to better describe what it changes. The adjustment
"Demon Eject Power" is now called "Demon Eject/VUK Power" and controls the
power of the coil that kicks the ball from the playfield up into and through
the Demon Head.
- Now the game gives an award for collecting all 15 City Combos. This
award can be multiplied by the shot/playfield multipliers. Upon completion
the game resets the Cities collected allowing for another set of 15 cities to
be collected.
- Added a Demon Spinning Motor test to the Game-Specific tests.
- Added an adjustment to disable the Demon Spinning Motor Disc.
- Added a slingshot power adjustment.
- Changed the default slingshot power.
- Added a Starchild slingshot power adjustment.
- Changed the default Starchild slingshot power.
- Added an adjustment for auto Ball Launch power.
- Added a Trough Eject power adjustment.
- Added Coin Meter to coil test.
- Added Ticket Meter to coil test.
- Changed the default Shaker Motor power.
- Changed the default diagnostic Shaker Motor "ON" time.
- Fixed a bug where the left outlane ball save would not perform an early kick.
Instead, it would wait for the ball to drain before kicking a new ball into play.
- Optimized the amount of game data being saved to the SD card.
- Changed the City Combo award lightshow to a "radar" look.
- Changed the Starchild full playfield lightshow (seen when hitting the
Starchild targets as play is advanced towards Love Gun Multiball) to be
more Starchild centric.
- Colorized the Starchild full playfield lightshow, i.e. RGB lamps in the
sequence now match the Love Gun Multiball arrow colors.
- Colorized the Love Gun Multiball Ready full playfield lightshow, i.e. RGB
lamps in the sequence now match the Love Gun Multiball arrow colors.
- Added outlane speech and probability criteria to hear it upon draining
the last ball.
- Changed the spelling of "Pittsburg" to "Pittsburgh".

Damn...if this is how quick small issues and adjustments can be made that is awesome.

Find all the bugs we can now while they are giving this game some love.

They really need to clean up a few animations that still look HORRIBLE so Color DMD can work their magic. Color should be KICK ASS for this game.

If this is the future for code updates and maybe better code at initial release of games moving forward then kudos to Stern for finally recognizing how important code is to make games fun. Just bashing a ball around a play field without clear objectives or poor rules is not always fun. Having inserts for features/awards that are not coded is a waste.

Does anyone know what the static KISS Army insert in front of the left ramp means? I know when its flashing it's a hurry up for hitting the Army stand ups. But I've seen it just sitting static. When I hit the ramp nothing happens (I think).

I still think it has to do with this change, but I haven't confirmed. My guess is that it is lit solid when you have met the criteria for one of the two hurry ups.

Ok confirmed. The KISS or ARMY hurry up inserts now light solid after collecting the first of the two hurry ups. After the second hurry up is collected the main shots are lit white to collect the shot multipliers.

The Demon ball STDM ball save on multi-ball is just huge. Anyone mess with the demon eject yet?

My gene head still has all kinds of problems which I guess are mechanical. Doesnt know the ball the ball is in there, gets stuck, etc.

Also how does Stern get the slingshots to shoot the balls straight to the outlanes? Its like NASA accuracy.

Game is a little better now. Widen the right ramp and make the scoop hittable and would be better.

Played 1 game on new code. Got Completed 4 songs, HOF (but couldn't collect super), Colossal Bonus.

Had Love Gun MB twice but didn't have a single Demon multi ball.

Lighting was fantastic but HOLY HELL is the shaker absolutely NUTS during "Super Scoring".

How is Super Scoring even activated? Anyone? Bueller?
