Quoted from BoJo:

There were so many unknowns however people gave him money hoping they would get the next title to skyrocket like BBB. I don't believe in the whole pre-order philosophy so I don't have to worry about getting burnt, that's why I wasn't surprised when things went south. I truly do feel bad for the people who lost money and I'm sure I'll still get flamed for this but sorry that's just how I see it.

I see it the same way. I hope all those who lost money can recover, but nobody was an innocent victim.

They all felt the risk was worth the reward.

Quoted from MinusWorlds:

One thing we need to remember is if you rewind 4-5 years ago the pre-pay model didn't have quite the stigma and JPOP was still a reputable person. Yes there were some definitely skeptical but the risk seemed a lot less than what was reality. Easy to say now "what were people thinking?"
Times have changed

JPop had no experience manufacturing a game. That was enough to know.

The same risks exist now as they did 4-5 years ago.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

There's so much bullshit and doubletalk

You really know so much....

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Jack NEVER would have attempted what he did when the economy was in the shitter

Quoted from Fulltilt:

No. JPop is a dick because he misled a lot of people into loosing a lot of money.
And he blamed the failure on Pinside and those people complaining of being misled.
And those people don't have dementia to forget that easily.

Yes, and "Pinside and those people" blame him.

And nobody on either side takes any responsibility for their own actions.

Also, LCD screens back then were only black & white.

Pretty funny.
