Just picked up the 2 chad eprom from John wart. Put in game as instructed with notches. On power up I get GI and one T. rex roar and nothing else. No display either. Contacted John but have not heard back. Put old Roms back in and it's perfect Any ideas?

They got corrupted. I'm confident John and you did a good job. Something between their travel from him to you corrupted them.

LTG : )

When I got mine, I got asked this question:

"Data East ran two configurations for the display board and some had 1x display rom and some had 2x.

The new code is burnt on to 1x rom chip, so if you currently have two on your display board, then you will have to change a jumper on the board for the new rom. I can provide instructions for this if we need to do it."

Did you confirm this?

He never asked. My display had one chip in the 0 or left socket I just swapped same location

a pair should have come. One for the display board and one at the board in the back box

Quoted from rooky79:

Thx. My post mentions this one for mpu one for display. Thx for ideas though. Thinking now it's corrupt. Sucks cause picking up game Friday. Took a week to get them

John had me check display Rom and it comes up 6.0 with old game rom in. So guessing new rom was corrupt. He already mailed new rom out.

Mate you'll love it when you get it in. Completely turns the way you play upside down.

Multi ball is really hard to get as you're not spoon fed it and the modes give you a reason to play for points instead of stacking them for system failure

It kicks my arse now and can barely crack 400 mill

New rom arrived. Perfect

Yay! Glad John could hook you up!
