I have a very small collection. Houdini, WoZ, and a recent edition of a GB (with Stern Topper!). I'm leaving one available slot for a GnR LE. I can't say I'm a big music fan. I don't love or hate GnR, but from everything I'm hearing, it's a steller pin. I wouldn't be surprised it might be the pin of the year. Anyway, my money is ready and I'm pretty sure it will be an easy buy.

Well, I do plan to watch teaser videos, see pictures, and read feature list. But, that's all I will need to hit the "buy" button.

Just so it's clear, "when" (not if) JJP releases a new pin (e.g., GnR), what will be first to be sold and made available based on the past? Do CE's and LE's come out the same time?

yes, there has been chatter about Stern's doing downloadable content. I think it's a good model and good value, but some folks hate the idea of downloadable content.

here's purely a guess. Imagine a pin with downloadable content, like additional songs package....hmmm

Boy, if this conversation was in a bar, there would be some glass and fists flying. We are just talking about pinball, right? It's a game. I love games, just like the rest of you. I lean towards JJP games, but I do acknowledge Stern is dealing the goods. Just look, they have 5 spots in the top 10 and most from recent games. Then, look at JJP and all their pins (OK, less than 1/2 dozen) are in the top 30ish. But, even though they have few pins, the ones they turn out are great, solid pins. My personal favorite is WoZ. Not bad for the 1st pin made by a company.

Well, I guess I'm one of the fanboys, too. I have to admit, today, I went to JJP FB page and JJP home page at least 20 times today hoping for the announcement.

Are you getting the latest Stern announced or are you getting GnR from JJP that might be the pin of the year?

Sounds to me delivery will be in October. That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

Great job with "investigative reporting." I think the team is putting the pieces together. Like you, I'm hoping for announcement this week and shipping "immediately!"

My bet there will be another teaser Friday to increase the hype over the weekend. Drum roll please....

hmmm. Maybe, but I noticed if you click on games on JJP site, it only shows 3 games: Willy Wonka, GnR, and POTC. Either updating site, or showing what 3 pins will be showcased?

I don't know. If I were a business man and saw how popular POTC was, I would figure out a way to revise a bit like YBR (although, that's not getting a major following). Here's to hoping. LTG knows a lot, but maybe he's not in the know here, right LTG?
