Quoted from Fishbeadtwo:Hey, did Kaneda tell you Erics game is being shown next week or what?
Knowing @vireland. That would be "or what".

Quoted from Fishbeadtwo:Hey, did Kaneda tell you Erics game is being shown next week or what?
Knowing @vireland. That would be "or what".
LTG : )
Quoted from f3honda4me:Isn't that just showing the power rating for their new facility? Not related to some pin announcement etc.
I thought it was requirements for each game to power the flippers.
LTG : )
Quoted from KingPinGames:I saw this thread was on fire and I took an oath to deal with these kinds of situations...
Where's the fire?
Looks like they hang firemen upside down to dry.
LTG : )
Quoted from Yelobird:They have managed this long to stay in business.
And in Brett's interview, JJP has been doing pretty good. Which I assume was right up to the move.
Obviously the move, three weeks later virus shut down. Has mucked up plans.
Yet they seem to still be gearing up to make pins and get them out faster. Setting up new production facilities. Hiring more people.
They make great games. And are looking to have a promising future.
I know it won't be overnight. I am looking forward to their future.
LTG : )
Quoted from RobF:In that picture from JeraeyJack, if you look above the rows of PFs there appears to be storage slots for something much smaller. Would those be used for upper PFs maybe?
First time those racks were used. Yes. WOZ mini playfields.
LTG : )
Quoted from Chet_Hardbody:Where's the cliff notes?
Episode 4 The Pink Foot
On Episode 4 of the Jersey Jack Pinball Podcast, we discuss the reveal strategy for the next release, creating sculpts for pins (Peter Dorn), how a pink foot became a dragon (Ted Estes), "Be Positive" campaign (Jack Guarnieri & Joe DiRusso), and more!
LTG : )
Quoted from PtownPin:So when u ship containers overseas what port do they leave from?
Port of Chicago. Chicago has ports under their authority. Lake Michigan is part of the Great Lakes, and ocean going vessels operate on the Great Lakes.
Not sure which port or ports in particular would be used to ship pins from any of the Chicago manufacturers.
LTG : )
Quoted from Skyemont:What was the date Willy Wonka was released? I’m sure it’s been over 16 months correct?
At MGC April 12th to 14th. I don't recall which night.
New Jim Patla interview.
https://directory.libsyn.com/episode/index/id/15464168
Things are moving forward.
LTG : )
Quoted from Skyemont:I thought we were seeing 2 pins a year or atleast 1 pin every 10 months or so.
That was the plan. Things changed in NJ. Change in ownership. The time lost flying people from Chicago to NJ and back every time something came up. Etc. Etc.
Then the decision was made to move all under one roof in Chicago. So designers and engineers can step onto the factory floor and deal with things instead of hopping on a plane.
So start the move. Then a huge unforseen like COVID appears and shuts down literally everything you need. People, setting up the factory, keeping a steady supply of parts to assemble games, etc. etc.
They are working hard towards their goal to make games and make more than one a year. In the most trying times the industry has ever faced.
The factory is moving along. They are hiring more people. I don't know how long this will all take in these crazy times. I am confident they will be successful in their plans.
LTG : )
Quoted from Hazoff:Any idea on why they can't show some pictures at least?
No idea.
When they are ready I'd imagine.
LTG : )
Quoted from Hazoff:Sorry I thought u worked there.
I help with tech support.
First to go. Last to know.
Willy Wonka was announced on Pinside by two distributors before I knew.
LTG : )
Quoted from colonel_caverne:Well, don’t we already know that JJP6 will be GNR? Looks obvious with last news (jjp wishing an happy birthday to Slash and a pic jack/slash)
Or a big misdirect. Don't forget the picture of Slash with his WOZ. They may be friends.
I posted before about last year at MGC. The rumors were strong about JJP5 and low and behold at MGC it became Willy Wonka instead.
Nothing is written in stone until we see the game revealed.
LTG : )
Quoted from Lermods:they should not have shut the Lakewood facility until the Elk Grove facility was active.
Well yeah, hind sight is 20-20.
How the hell can you plan for the country being shut down 3 weeks after you start the move ?
Everything you were counting on. Assembly line, walls, wiring, office furniture, waste baskets, heat, air, everything imaginable you need. Can be delayed beyond belief.
Not to mention a steady supply line of all the parts you need to make 500 or 1,000 games and keep the line moving.
Other manufacturers have their hands full too. Behind the scenes things you don't know about.
LTG : )
Quoted from Mr-Worf:how many employees with some experience in assembly came to the new location
You mean ones you can't live without ? Like Pat, Ted, Keith, Eric, Joe, Wally, Jim, etc. ? They were already if Chicago. Except Jack. And he flies all over for new releases anyway.
You mean assembly line workers ? You can train new ones.
LTG : )
Quoted from Mr-Worf:yes exactly i mean the workers on the assembly line.
The majority of temps who come in when games are on the line.
None of the manufacturers keep them around until production starts.
When Stern moved to the new building, they lost a lot of the temps because travel way across Chicago wasn't worth it.
So after the line is set up for the next game, parts in place, story boards in place. First few test games made. Then the hiring or rehiring starts. So there is a turn over on new people at every manfacturer.
LTG : )
Quoted from riggy469:I’m assuming at a distributor location.
No idea of time frame, game name, or anything.
I do hope one for a tech support location ( ie me ) so I can learn before the calls start.
LTG : )
Quoted from romulusx:Calls what calls?
Where is the back box key. How do I get the glass off. What software version is in my game.
Anytime a new game goes out. The basics light up the switch board. Many first time buyers, or people who forgot or don't know.
LTG : )
Quoted from iamabearsfan:Sounds like most of us here on Pinside
When people get a brand new in the box new game. Excitement comes into play too. Possibly forgetting everything.
I'm happy for them. I get to hear the excitement in their voices.
LTG : )
Quoted from PinballManiac40:TPN with Zach stated good news from JJP is coming in September. What part of the month was not mentioned.
It has been a tough crazy year, to say the least. No shows, only a couple new pins.
So knowing in two to six weeks there might be some excitement. I'm glad to have something to look forward too.
LTG : )
Quoted from Yelobird:Dam you JJP I'm buying a lawn mower cause I Hate having this money in my pocket! Take that!
Honda, four wheel drive, four wheel steering ?
Awesome machine. And great resale value when you need what's coming.
LTG : )
Quoted from Slapfighter:So why had they posted this trailer three months ago?
To let people know that in spite of the move from NJ to Chicago. In spite of COVID. In spite of riots and protests in Chicago. That they are moving forward and want to build great games in the new factory for pinball lovers everywhere.
LTG : )
Quoted from BallPin:Wish I could tell you more, but I have to respect JJP.
If you really respected JJP. You wouldn't have posted in two threads about this in the first place.
Lloyd
Quoted from BallPin:Well everyone knows they are coming out with GnR and Toy Story,
Really ?
I do tech support for them and I don't know that.
Last year we were expecting Toy Story at TPF and JJP unveiled WOZYBR. Then later at MGC we were expecting Toy Story and WW was unveiled.
So make that everyone less one.
LTG : )
Quoted from jfh:Actually Lloyd is on the “I don’t want to know” plan.
That is true. Then if something leaks. Wasn't me.
Quoted from Yelobird:Your on a need to know basis!!
My tech support credo. First to go last to know.
Though it would be fun once to have an inkling of what the heck is going on before the tech calls come in on it.
LTG : )
Quoted from Yelobird:And what would You know
Well now. To be fair. I did BS my way through five weeks of tech support for WOZ, before I had one so I could start learning it.
I know nothing. Sgt. Schultz quote.
LTG : )
Quoted from colonel_caverne:Hard to believe (with all my respect)
Your choice. Believe or not. No matter to me.
Quoted from colonel_caverne:Or i don’t understand what is your job
Tech support. People stop into my arcade, call one of four phones, email, PM's here and on Facebook. I try to help them get their JJP ( and CGC ) games going once they have them and have questions or need help with the game.
I don't work at either factory, so I can't look out the door and see what is going on, or sit in on meetings. I found out about Willy Wonka here on Pinside two days before MGC. Just like everyone else. I didn't know anything about it before hand.
LTG : )
Quoted from Halfwasted:but JJP sees GnR as too risky a theme.
Nobody knows that. Unless JJP says so.
LTG : )
Quoted from colonel_caverne:Why is written « jersey jack pinball » in your profile?
Because I do tech support for Jersey Jack Pinball.
And there isn't room for Planetary Pinball Supply, or Chicago Gaming Company.
I own an arcade. SS Billiards, in Hopkins, MN. I work from there. Noon to midnight everyday, though usually earlier and later. I'm not at any factory I help. Though on occasion I have visited them. And hope to see the new JJP building and new AP buildings some day. I've seen the old ones.
Also people thinking of buying a JJP game or CGC game. If they stop into my business. I'll open up the games and walk them through it to help the manufacturers sell games and people learn about what they are buying.
LTG : )
Quoted from colonel_caverne:LTG n’a pas besoin d’avocat, je ne l’agresse pas.
Vous avez l’air de le connaitre, moi pas. D’ou mes questions.
No problem. I know their may be a language barrier. I don't mind answering to help you better understand what I do.
LTG : )
Quoted from Freakyguy666:JJP is not one person anymore. So there are several people who would “know”.
I thought that was clear when I posted JJP for Jersey Jack Pinball.
Jersey Jack Pinball has always had more than one person that knows.
LTG : )
Quoted from Nokoro:I know five guys that say it is definitely Harry Potter and not GNR or TS.
I know one guy that hopes it's PTC !
LTG : )
Quoted from Freakyguy666:Yet you wrote “nobody knows”.
Nobody does.
If they knew. They'd be a somebody.
LTG : )
Quoted from Freakyguy666:I typed even slower...I’ll try again...you don’t have any insider info but yet you claim to know with whom insiders choose to share info...these 2 thoughts are a contradiction.
Hell. I'm a contradiction.
Actually in all this, I was referring to Pinside. No one on Pinside knows.
LTG : )
Quoted from marlboroman:ALL original character voices need to be in every game! only reason I don't own any : (
You could own WOZ, Hobbit, Dialed In, and Willy Wonka.
So there is only one game you don't want, Pirates.
Call your distributor today !
LTG : )
Quoted from Freakyguy666:Again, based on what you wrote you would not know that for a fact either.
#Facts.
Yeah. But it gives you something to twist and have fun with.
LTG : )
Quoted from Napoleon:That could be liquidators for all we know.
They'd be there a long time dragging all those new Willy Wonkas off the assembly line.
Not liquidators.
Gearing up for bigger and better things.
LTG : )
Quoted from Freakyguy666:Finally. I guess I typed slow enough that time.
Yes you did.
Thank you !
LTG : )
Quoted from marlboroman:How's the sarcasm... ok then with all your talent you can remove the giant screen tvs for me!
Wasn't sarcasm.
You wanted JJP games to have the real actors voices in them. I pointed out four of them that did. In case you didn't know.
I didn't quote your dislike for the big screen, because they all have that.
LTG : )
Quoted from LukyDuck:I hear from a source close to JJP that PTC might be the next game!
PTC is not POTC. And I was rather hoping for a remake - PTCR !
LTG : )
Disclaimer : Not to cause undo confusion.
Quoted from iceman44:I just don’t get JJP. Jack keeps popping out the Woz editions, yellow version money grabber. Although who would buy it?
There is a huge market for Wizard Of Oz stuff. Way beyond pinball fans. They are probably still buying the game.
The first Summer when JJP started and hadn't built a game yet. People seeing me and my location on the WOZ forum, stopped in on their travels around the country to WOZ shows and conventions. They didn't know what pinball was, but being it had WOZ on it, they bought one. And wanted to see what a pinball machine was.
Wasn't just a few either. There were a lot of them. Majority retired and traveling, but young ones too. I didn't realize that Wizard Of Oz had a following like KISS.
JJP may keep making WOZ well into the future with a market like that.
LTG : )
Quoted from branlon8:If I’m informed correctly, WOZ and Hobbit had a lot of electronics in the cabinet which moved to the backbox with DI. Is this still the case with the newer WOZ games?
Yes.
LTG : )
Quoted from iceman44:Jack said it himself. 2-3 games
Per year
It has taken years. But with the move to Chicago, new factory, everything under one roof. Hiring more people. I believe JJP is nearing that goal.
LTG : )
Quoted from Napoleon:The liquidators are circling...
Too funny.
Quoted from adamsebas:JJP should call it day!
And throw away all they have accomplished in the last four months ?
LTG : )
Quoted from KingBW:Patience is tough when you really want to know.
I was a test operator for 19 years. I've learned to not get excited until it hits the floor.
Maybe this year is tougher with out shows so we can see what is new or get news on what companies are working on ?
LTG : )
Quoted from KingBW:True, we really miss the shows and the people
Yes. Me too. I really miss the people.
You never know who you'll see next. New friends, old friends. Great times.
I hope we have a shot at it next year.
LTG : )
Quoted from Napoleon:Why would anyone write Jack? He doesn't own the company anymore.
He is still an important part of it.
Give him a call.
LTG : )
Quoted from Kenz:They do need to come out with some news shortly. Its looking a wee bit embarrassing..
Even a few leaked photos would keep the momentum going..
On the Jersey Jack Facebook page is a video, "Letter From Leo". ( I haven't seen it anywhere else yet )
A good tour of the factory. A walk through of a huge, well stocked parts department.
I've been saying they have been working hard there setting all this up these past months.
LTG : )
Quoted from Lou-E-Gee:Thank God JJP released that video of a kid touring the facility.
It was the first tour of the new factory and a look at an impressive, stocked parts department.
Amazing what they have accomplished in half a year considering what was going on in the world during that time.
LTG : )
Quoted from Doctor6:I think we found who's in charge of their marketing department.
Did you mean me ? Or the man in the video giving the tour ?
If you meant me, no. I do tech support for JJP ( and CGC ). People that have trouble with their JJP ( or CGC ) game. I try to help them. Through the company support systems, here on Pinside, and other places.
I have nothing to do with marketing.
I do get excited when we see something new like the inside of the new JJP building. Same as when Stern moved into their new building. CGC had their own assembly line going. AP's new building. Gerry's Multimorphic production.
I'd posted comments, links, and pictures. Shared in the excitement that is pinball. These are great times. In spite of everything going on. And we get to see it. Stern is up to speed. JJP and CGC are ramping up for the future. AP is moving along nicely, Hot Wheels is being well received. Multimorphic's latest game is a hit.
The end of this year, and 2021 are going to be great times for pinball. No matter which company or games you love. Something for everybody. That is pinball.
LTG : )
Quoted from LTG:I do tech support for JJP ( and CGC ).
I should probably add.
Since I have their games here in my arcade. People that are thinking of buying a game. I'll open them up, explain the inner workings. Treat them to games. And refer them to places to buy them.
LTG : )
Quoted from smalltownguy2:At this point, I don't believe Jersey Jack Pinball will ever release another title. As far as I'm concerned, they WERE a pinball company.
I respect your belief.
I don't agree with it.
LTG : )
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:That better not be a troll post!!
I don't think Keith is capable of a troll post.
LTG : )
Quoted from meSz:"I know somebody at JJP that said......"
Me too.
Actually the recent incorrect rumors I believe came from suppliers to JJP, not JJP.
LTG : )
Quoted from 27dnast:Anyone want to wager on how long it takes before smalltownguy2 deletes his account and disappears?
Been around 7 years. So I'd think not likely.
He's allowed to have his say. Don't like it ? Ignore or post a rebuttal.
LTG : )
Quoted from 27dnast:Of course, I was only suggesting he’d disappear when it came time to pay up. Just a joke
I know.
All in good humor.
LTG : )
Quoted from Hazoff:Think of the excitement from pinheads with an announcement of JJP #6 Alien.
A better chance of Punchy the Clown #6 than Alien.
LTG : )
Quoted from Dallas_Pin:JJP has done so good we are talking about Spooky ... for any JJP employees reading this, let this tell you a lot
Why not talk about Spooky. They have a lot to be proud of and are expanding. Charlie and crew are amazing.
We can talk about American Pinball, who showed the first new game this year.
Multimorphic is rolling, we can talk about Gerry.
In the hardest of times, Stern has brought out two great games this year. Well worth a discussion. They clearly have a lot to be proud of.
Chicago Gaming in the worst times finished up the MMR Royal and the Ben Heck/Spooky tie in was covered on Pinside. So expect exciting things from them in the future.
And Jersey Jack Pinball. We can talk about them, and what they've accomplished in half a year facing half the planet shut down. They moved. Set up a factory. Have an assembly line up and running Willy Wonkas, and a huge well stocked parts room.
Yes it would be nice if some of the manufacturers would pump out a new game or two, and faster in the future. Or let us know what game is next. It is what it is.
Last year after Expo I was hoping for a new game or two before the end of the year. Then I thought for sure by TPF at the end of March. Then 2020 the year of what the hell next kicked most people in the nuts.
Now half a year later, I'm very slowly getting by. And am hopeful to close out the year with a new game or two.
2021 is looking to be the greatest year in pinball in a long time. And I for one am looking forward to it and just wish it would get here quicker. Like many others.
LTG : )
Quoted from pinball_keefer:My God, you're right. I'm resigning on Monday; I've wasted my life. Thanks for opening my eyes!
And the funniest post of the year goes to...........................pinball_keefer !
LTG : )
Quoted from kermit24:I also call BS on the "lack of demand".
When it was leaked the night before the unveiling at MGC. About the removal of the three spinning discs and trunk lid opening. Pinside lit up and people were canceling orders.
A lot of games went unsold. Remember the ones in Australia that were NIB and people were buying them and shipping back to the USA ? After you couldn't find them here, why were they unsold ?
The game may be hot now. Out of the gate it wasn't.
LTG : )
Quoted from Navystan:here's purely a guess. Imagine a pin with downloadable content, like additional songs package....hmmm
Depending on license and which songs, could be costly if not cost prohibitive.
Many TV shows that went to DVD had changes in music because of things like that.
And when Stern wrote an extra mode for a game with a topper. The place erupted.
I shudder to think every time an update adding cool features comes out. And those bastards are charging for a game I already spent good money on ! Pinside already has enough grief.
Good idea. Poor in practice.
LTG : )
Quoted from Elvishasleft:Good lord.. the guy takes time out of his day to actually give some real world basic honest info and still gets kicked in the nuts.
And people wonder why companies never post here.
LTG : (
Quoted from JDHHoover:I will add to your thought. Include an app where the code can be user modified and installed. A forum or database where users share code.
It's been covered before. Never happen.
LTG : )
Quoted from gonzo73:Mozart wore lace. I guess I cant love the Requium Mass, now.
I hope you still love The Magic Flute.
LTG : )
Quoted from RandomGuyOffCL:What ever happened with pindemption?
Died. Never took off. Forgotten.
And a major pain in the butt. If you enable it ( if your game has it ) and don't back up your settings if you go back to regular WOZ, you are in a world of hurt discovering what it all changed so you can manually change each thing back.
LTG : )
Quoted from majicman110:I used to find it kind of annoying when people would end a sentence with a preposition.
Simon Wilder : Which door do I leave from?
Proffesor Pitkannan : At Harvard we don't end our sentences with prepositions.
Simon Wilder : Okay. Which door do I leave from, asshole?
LTG : )
Quoted from Hammerhead:Sorry Lloyd, but you spelled "Professor" wrong.
I copied it from IMDB quotes and pasted it, Hammerhead.
There. I didn't end that with a preposition.
LTG : )
Quoted from wesman:I thought you were calling him a Hammerhead for a moment there!
I could never refer to a fine gentleman like Hammerhead in such a fashion.
LTG : )
Quoted from majicman110:"It" is a pronoun, not a preposition.
I suppose it would help if I knew what the f*ck a preposition was, or cared.
LTG : )
Quoted from romulusx:The only thing more annoying then trolls are the grammer police guys!
I don't know. This one time I thought it was pretty funny.
This thread has taken a turn for the surreal.
LTG : )
Quoted from majicman110:But it is kinda funny because LTG busted out the With Honors movie quote, so I just assumed we were all joking around.
I should hope so. Having fun is why we are here.
Pinball is supposed to be fun. Getting games. Getting help with them. Learning to play them. Finding out what exciting mods we need. Forming new friendships. And exciting releases coming up. Podcasts and video.
These are great times for pinball. Once in awhile maybe we need to remember that. And we get to see it. And 2021 is looking to be a great year for pinball.
I'm glad there is this forum called Pinside. And I'm honored to be part of it.
LTG : )
Quoted from Hogbog:Looking forward to playing the next one with you guys! Man, I can't wait to hang out at a pinball show and drink beer with friends again.
I'd be happy to come to the factory and peek under the hood to see what I'll be doing tech support on, before any calls come in.
LTG : )
Quoted from Ericc123:but I can't help but feel they missed out on sales by showing after Stern, American Pinball AND Deeproot.
It is a possibility.
But so much went beyond anybodies control. Start moving from NJ to IL. 3 weeks later the country shuts down. Anybody see that coming ? How do you plan for that ?
In spite of every possible delay imaginable, they set up a factory, stocked it. Have it running. Quite a feat in 5 months of this year.
Yes Stern has worked miracles. American Pinball is very slowly getting games built. And Deeproot has yet to show anything, it remains to be seen what they show and when games roll out. It looks like JJP will be rolling out games the same time it's shown.
Once JJP shows their game, I'm sure sales will be just fine. In my humble opinion.
LTG : )
Quoted from LTG:Yes Stern has worked miracles. American Pinball is very slowly getting games built. And Deeproot has yet to show anything, it remains to be seen what they show and when games roll out. It looks like JJP will be rolling out games the same time it's shown.
I missed Gerry and Multimorphic, he had a new game this year too. I'm sorry Gerry, I didn't leave you out on purpose.
LTG : )
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Virtual Expo Maybe???
Wouldn't that be a crazy virtual Expo if Jersey Jack Pinball, Chicago Gaming Company, and Stern. All unveiled new pinball machines ?
LTG : )
Quoted from thechakapakuni:JJP POTC didn’t really have any code updates to speak of.
Too funny.
6.
http://marketing.jerseyjackpinball.com/potc/potc_changelog.txt
LTG : )
Quoted from romulusx:Do you think that JJP was aware of how weak Deeproot showing was going to be and that’s why they waited for their reveal?
No. Their plans and goals are their own. They aren't waiting on anybody else. Just getting things the way they want it.
LTG : )
Quoted from Noma2017:JJP just posted on IG that they are working hard to make “your October a memorable one”
It’s a pic of the whole team and isn’t that Eric in the middle?
Yes. That's our man Eric ! Designer of great games !
LTG : )
JJP2020Octwarmup (resized).jpgQuoted from LTG:Yes. That's our man Eric ! Designer of great games !
I see Barry Engler and Duncan Brown too.
LTG : )
Quoted from Yelobird:I don't see #LTG in that picture??
I'm not there. My invite must have got lost.
LTG : (
Quoted from smalltownguy2:Your invitation to the new game launch will be scheduled for 2 weeks after you've completed your first 6 tech support calls on the title.
I hope not.
But damn that's funny. Thank you for that.
LTG : )
Quoted from smalltownguy2:Next time I see you, remind me to tell you an interesting story about me and Steve.
You. Steve. And what his parrot saw ?
LTG : )
Quoted from Yelobird:And how have we not deciphered with 200 theories Erics shirt yet?
Quoted from KingPinGames:pretty sure it is a 20 sided dice thing that I wouldn't understand.
Dice used for Dungeons and Dragons.
LTG : )
Quoted from Yelobird:So confirmed by #LTG and KingPinGames Eric’s next game is Dungeons and Dragons! Code deciphered and confirmed!
We was wrong.
KevInBuffalo decoded it. It's Critical Hit !
Eric's next game is Critical Hit. Can't wait.
LTG : )
Quoted from pinball_keefer:Relax, it was just a peaceful protest.
Darn. Now I'm really sorry I didn't get an invite.
LTG : (
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Lloyd.
Why dont I see Jack in this picture?
Where's Jersey Jack?
I can't speak for Jack.
My thinking is he is probably home in New Jersey.
I haven't recently dug into all the travel restrictions or risks. A trip in an airplane from NJ to Ill might not be wise. Or get you quarantined somewhere.
Might explain why others aren't there.
Or maybe more will be there for the reveal ?
LTG : )
Quoted from romulusx:Damn it! Foiled again
You took a shot.
Only asked the wrong person. I wasn't at JJP to be in the picture. I'm 400 miles away.
And usually the last to know.
I'm waiting for news too. Mostly so when I can plan for an increase in tech calls. 5 JJP pins out there now. A 6th will eventually make an increase. Especially with first time NIB owners. Wondering where keys are etc. I don't expect anything serious.
LTG : )
Quoted from wesman:I miss Jack.
When I reentered this hobby recently, seeing him give tours, muck about with Todd Tuckey, and give lectures and such at conventions were really the joy that got me excited for pinball again. Given the overall last year, (even despite Covid) and since Wonka's launch, I really fear his presence in the company will never be the same.
Nothing ever stays the same.
And this year has really mucked things up.
Give it time. Get past the virus problems. Jack is still an important part of the company. The man who made his dream come true.
When shows return and travel is safe. I'm sure he'll be doing what he does best. Revealing games. And talking all the changes at Jersey Jack Pinball and where it is headed in the future.
I for one am confident that great times are ahead for JJP !
LTG : )
Quoted from Skyemont:I got a pic guys.
It's got a "G" ramp too ! Just like the Data East one.
Amazing.
LTG : )
Quoted from meSz:What's the over/under on how long it takes for a new post "What's JJP's next game and when is it coming out" to be put up?
Within one hour once the reveal happens.
LTG : )
Quoted from meSz:Oh Lloyd you're too kind .... I give it 5 min.
You are wiser than me. I was thinking 5 minutes. But had high hopes for proper restraint.
LTG : )
Quoted from Grossp59:When is JJP 6 coming to SS Billiards? Monday?!
No idea.
I hope before any tech calls come in once people start getting them. That hasn't ever really worked out since WOZ.
I'll still try and help those in need.
LTG : )
Quoted from wcbrandes:How long do the CE people have to wait? Have they announced how they will tackle the production in numbers and or which models are shipping when?
I would imagine all of that will be answered quite nicely on Monday.
LTG : )
Quoted from flynnibus:And what's behind the blacked out box they felt they needed to obscure
A surprise. Built in tech support.

Light grey ethernet cables for the light system. Used on WOZ 2.0 and JJP games after.
LTG : )
Quoted from RobF:They carry RGB control signals? That is a lot of RJ45 connections to one board...
Might do more on this game.
There are I think 10 on them in WOZ 2.0 from the HUB Board to each of the big light boards.

Quoted from PinMonk:My question is, who is that 7' tall dude at the end of the line? He looks like a giant.
That is Yelobird
Gives you incentive to buy his mods, doesn't it ?
LTG : )
Quoted from wyopin:Not the bundle of cables Lloyd, the stake to the right of the bundle....it looks like it goes through the playfield?
Screwed to the playfield with one quarter drive head ? If so. That is a wire harness holder. Holds the bundle up from the wood.

Quoted from romulusx:Do you think we’ll get a teaser GnR pic from Eric today?
Hard to say.
He could be resting up. Monday is going to be HUGE !
LTG : )
Quoted from PinMonk:That explains why you look enormous.
After his POTC and now this game. Eric is enormous !
LTG : )
Quoted from Concretehardt:I can’t wait until Monday!!
No sh*t !
Monday will be a great day for pinball !
LTG : )
Quoted from Bublehead:Ok, what in this picture that excites me is not his NIB perch, or his nonchalant semi axle look, but the pallets and pallets of parts in the background in boxes... pins for the masses.
On the JJP Facebook page the Letter from Leo video toured the new factory. And showed a huge, well stocked, parts department.
LTG : )
Quoted from greenhornet:im not seeing any line workers in any of these released pics.
It's elves. They sneak into the factory at night and build games.
LTG : )
Disclaimer : You can't honestly think that JJP is having their greatest reveal ever with no line workers ?
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:Here's hoping the reveal is at Midnight Chicago Time tonight. Technically Oct 5th at 12:00 am.
About the time band hits stage anyway.
I know the waiting is hard. For me too.
Let's let Eric have a good nights sleep, if he can. Big day for him tomorrow.
LTG : )
Disclaimer : Phone lines and internet will be lit up tomorrow.
Quoted from romulusx:He’s at SS Billiards right now in a hidden bunker playing some GnR,laughing his ass off!
Not true.
That is some very funny sh*t !
LTG : )
Disclaimer : Now searching for that hidden bunker. Not sure where I put it.
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:I do hope Lloyd your one of the first to get one.
Thank you my friend !
It would be nice to get one ahead of any tech calls for a change. Or my competition.
Simple things like where are the back box keys are easy. And what usually happens early on. Calls on anything game specific I haven't seen yet, gets a little harder.
LTG : )
Quoted from romulusx:Ask Geraldo he knows where it is?
Well since Capone's vault ended up being an underground speakeasy that had to be located off of hotel property so the hotel couldn't be in trouble. And never was a vault.
My hidden bunker must be 300 feet East under 11th avenue.
Thank you for your help in locating it !

Quoted from insight75:Can I order directly from JJP or do I have to go to a distributor? I'm a little confused on this.
From the Jersey Jack Pinball website, Next game isn't listed there to put in your cart so call Jack or Jen.
Or your favorite distributor.
LTG : )
Quoted from SLCpunk2113:It would be impossible to prove where they came from.
Not if they were prototypes and had subtle differences known only to the factory.
LTG : )
Disclaimer : I don't think any home has one yet.
Quoted from Medic:You think it will be worth to get LE vs SE?
When the information is available. Decide what you like, as far as differences between the models.
LTG : )
Quoted from PinMonk:What happened to the launch streams? I thought the people that got it in advance were supposed to be streaming it today...?
Maybe they are too busy playing it and forgot to be streaming ?
LTG : )
Quoted from BallPin:looks like its ready to ship....could it be?
It is. Showroom model shipped from NJ to Chicago for showroom there.
LTG : )
Quoted from IronMan8Bit:A showroom for a game they don't even make anymore? haha Seems like teasing at that point.
Lots of pinball manufacturers have show rooms with past and present games.
I don't think that is teasing.
LTG : )
Quoted from Navystan:but maybe he's not in the know here,
I'm usually the last to know.
Last year I found out about Willy Wonka here on Pinside two days before MGC. From two distributors' posts.
