I can't speak for Jack.
My thinking is he is probably home in New Jersey.
I haven't recently dug into all the travel restrictions or risks. A trip in an airplane from NJ to Ill might not be wise. Or get you quarantined somewhere.
Might explain why others aren't there.
Or maybe more will be there for the reveal ?

Only asked the wrong person. I wasn't at JJP to be in the picture. I'm 400 miles away.
And usually the last to know.
I'm waiting for news too. Mostly so when I can plan for an increase in tech calls. 5 JJP pins out there now. A 6th will eventually make an increase. Especially with first time NIB owners. Wondering where keys are etc. I don't expect anything serious.

I miss Jack.
When I reentered this hobby recently, seeing him give tours, muck about with Todd Tuckey, and give lectures and such at conventions were really the joy that got me excited for pinball again. Given the overall last year, (even despite Covid) and since Wonka's launch, I really fear his presence in the company will never be the same.
IllInois Wealthy Progeny Kid doesn't have the same ring to it, that's for sure.

Nothing ever stays the same.
And this year has really mucked things up.
Give it time. Get past the virus problems. Jack is still an important part of the company. The man who made his dream come true.
When shows return and travel is safe. I'm sure he'll be doing what he does best. Revealing games. And talking all the changes at Jersey Jack Pinball and where it is headed in the future.
I for one am confident that great times are ahead for JJP !

While you all are waiting maybe try and play some Wonka... not just bang a game on it, actually try and learn whats going on.
That game gets some shit but to me was the most fun Ive had with a pin in a few years once I learned the rules (and yes that includes Sterns and others) .
I owned about 15 "classics" at one point a few years ago so not exactly new to pinball either.

We will miss being able to pick our game up at the factory and seeing Jack, was always one of the nice things about buying a jjp game. Did this for DI, POTC and Wonka. He invited us into his office for a bit when we picked up wonka. Really going to miss this part of it. Maybe we can get him to deliver GnR (or whatever the next game is) to us!

If everyone simply expects an announce on October 31 then Everyone will be pleased if its 1 day or 29 early!
Someone speculated the announcement would be part of the Virtual Expo, that makes sense to me. I'm guessing Friday or Saturday the 17th or 18th.
