The one I received was one stern version with long power cable and one williams with the power tap to plug into. The power tap is just a 12 volt source for adding mods. Both have the stern style plug on mine. Power tap powers the Williams version. Mine flashes based on sound.
I was suggesting due to his location, he could use a proper connection, definitely not suggesting to hack it. Both of mine shipped stern style and a power tap was included for the Williams platform. Also like to add here that there was a shipping mix up with mine. Dan was quick to respond and keep me up to date when it shipped with a tracking number. Great product and service from the seller. Look forward to your future products!
Dan, by the way it arrived yesterday. Will be installing this afternoon after work. Holding onto the IJ4 one for now as I have a flashing ark on top at the moment.
