Cool opportunity, assuming humidity control warehouse.
Also, the privilege to open is cool; however, you will need not to care about instant depreciation to around $4500.
Quoted from Bud:No way just opening the box would justify a $2,000 depreciation. In fact, the older a pin is and in the box, the more buyers want to actually see the pin. I’ve had a few NIb pins from the 80s and 90s. All but one were opened up for inspection but never played or set up, value didn’t go down a single cent.
Right. Nice ones go for around $4500 per archive actual sales.
Question is what should one pay for the privilege to open the box first and play?
Cuz year down the road, machine will sell for around what nice ones sell for. (Depreciation like buying a NIB Stern today).
