First prototype formed replacement for the Hurricane center ramp. PETG, thicker than the original. Pricing will be announced in a day or two. In addition to offering just the ramp with new flap installed (assumes you move/rivet the three metal brackets from your old ramp), I will also offer the base ramp with all three new brackets installed. If you are up for the task of removing your 3 brackets...and mailing to me...I will install them for free....just purchase the base ramp. If there is any interest I will also offer a new plastic cover for the ramp....to replace your broken or faded original.

I will begin taking orders Monday, June 20th.

I made some subtle changes in the ramp. Both of the two samples I had were cracking at the upper mounting points, so I left a little more "meat" around those mounting points. Two of the photos below show a weak point in the original design near the drop hole. Also shown is the new ramp with a change to eliminate the cracking point. Also cleaned up the lines in this area as well.

Every ramp I do is a new challenge. This Hurricane center ramp has been, let's say, difficult. Lot's of twists and turns and must be finished out by hand. At the moment I have only 5 completed with 4 left to finish on this first run.....then I'm going to take a break!
Ramp is thicker than the original and I was able to improve a couple weak spots and improve the lines and appearance around the drop hole.
So...final pricing...
I'm going to offer this as simply a ramp with a new flap attached whereby you would rivet mount the three metal pieces. I am also going to offer new metal pieces riveted to the ramp. If you want to purchase the base ramp and send me the three pieces attached to your ramp, I will mount them on a new ramp for FREE.
Base ramp, everything pre-drilled with new flap $140
Options....
1. Send me the three metal pieces riveted to your ramp and I will rivet to the new ramp $FREE
2. New metal brackets riveted to the ramp $15
3. New clear cover (Lexan) $14
Shipping (Domestic US) $15
This first run will only be for 9 ramps so first come first serve.
I'm on my second Modelo now!
I'll post more photos tomorrow.

Added over 7 years ago: UPDATE ON PRICING.... The Lexan ramp cover is Now FREE with the purchase of the ramp!

So, am I the first one to get one of these installed?? Its PERFECT!! It looks perfect, it fits perfect, it works perfect, the quality is exceptional, and the center hole no longer drops the ball on the pop bumper, so I deleted that dumb plastic that mounts over the pop bumpers! Thanks a million Mark, I couldn't be happier!! Well... except if I had the other 2 ramps all shiny new also!
