I picked this pin up today for a location I have in mind. Got it for $700, which I felt was a very good price. Pin was in great shape besides the normal massive dirt etc. It was a German re import (first re import i've ever purchased) but maybe the theme was too happy for Germans since the thing did not get much play it looks like.

Anyways, I took this chance to try out the treasure cove pin polishing kit I just ordered, and I thought I would share the results. Keep in mind this was just a quick, 30 min job as I spent most of the day getting the pin, and then taking the playfield apart etc. But I think the results are very impressive and I can't wait to polish every pin I own with this kit (and try it on mylar, which it is supposed to make shine also).

First pics are as I got her today, last ones are as she sits right now. Pretty shiny. Plastics are all cleaned and drying from a run in the dishwasher.

The shine really does not come though in the pics as well as it looks. Really nice results for such a quick polish and clean.

Wow! That PF looks great now. Can you post a pic of the polishing kit?

I got the 4" shine master kit. Works like a champ and has enough goop to do a shit-ton of pins. However I kinda wish I had bought the smaller 2" kit also for the hard to reach places like outlanes and stuff. but oh well, next time.

Thanks. Maldoror. I will take your advice and get both the 2" and 4" kits. I am also going to order those side decals for my IJ. Oh, and that TZ poster looks good too. lol

hahah that guy owes me a reach around after a plug like that.

errr on second thought. forget that

Mine was just as dirty when I got it. Here it was after a Saturday morning...

Nice Jar, I see yours has the exact same cab fade as mine too, unless that is the factory colors?

I will get some better pics of the shine this kit gives tomorrow when I polish it a second time.

#8 14 years ago

Nope, that's fade. My left side was faded like that, but my right side was pretty good.

#9 14 years ago

Very nice .. so is this one for home or one of the locations ?

#10 14 years ago

This is a location pin. More info soon :] Let's just say it will have a few pins in the place...

You going to be adding a Cyclone to your on-route pins maldoror? I haven't seen a system 11 on location for a while, but when I did, it was still getting decent collections for the nostalgic on-lookers (in this case it was a Taxi).

#12 14 years ago

Thats a fun game
I'm sure it will draw a lot of quarters to the coin box

#13 14 years ago

A CYCLONE and a TAXI together?

Wow good job on the restoration guys! Makes me want to own one, never had this game before!

#15 14 years ago

I started to get into that pin before I let it go,
my other pins just didn't like his company - they voted him out

Cabinet is a bit faded. Pinballpt.com has replacements for $250 shipped. Dunno if you care enough about it to spend that much cashish tho.

lot of people don't like this title (I've never played it). I hear "this is the worst of the 3 carnival themed pins". There's on for sale locally for like $1900, no way I'd spend anywhere near that for this title. For $700, I'd be all over it
