I picked this pin up today for a location I have in mind. Got it for $700, which I felt was a very good price. Pin was in great shape besides the normal massive dirt etc. It was a German re import (first re import i've ever purchased) but maybe the theme was too happy for Germans since the thing did not get much play it looks like.
Anyways, I took this chance to try out the treasure cove pin polishing kit I just ordered, and I thought I would share the results. Keep in mind this was just a quick, 30 min job as I spent most of the day getting the pin, and then taking the playfield apart etc. But I think the results are very impressive and I can't wait to polish every pin I own with this kit (and try it on mylar, which it is supposed to make shine also).
First pics are as I got her today, last ones are as she sits right now. Pretty shiny. Plastics are all cleaned and drying from a run in the dishwasher.
The shine really does not come though in the pics as well as it looks. Really nice results for such a quick polish and clean.
