You guys are lucky! Basements in So Cal are almost non-existent. Something about earthquakes or the water table. All we've got is sunshine.

Yep. I have a crawl space under my house that is great for repairing plumbing but not so great for putting pinball machines. My answer was to get rid of any and all unnecessary vehicles and furniture.
