If you are in the area check out a new pin location at 1501 Highwood Ave, in North Versailles PA.

https://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&q=New+Great+Valley+Lanes&fb=1&gl=us&hq=new+great+valley+lanes&cid=6508748462813774008&ei=NixfU8DKEcXt2QXf0YBo&ved=0CIoBEPwSMA0

Currently 8 new games at the location; Centaur, Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Addams Family, Tron, Transformers LE, AC/DC Premium, Corvette and Cosmic Gunfight.

There are also some arcade machine there that I do not maintain. Stop by and play some pin!

#3 9 years ago

I have been here recently, and all machines were in great working order. Was fun to play Corvette again!
Thanks for providing this fun selection of machines, ninjadoug!

#4 9 years ago

Glad you like them. We're hoping to get some of the broken vids (not mine) out of there soon in favor of some more pins!

#5 9 years ago

Thanks for the update. I was there a few months ago but line up was different.

#6 9 years ago

Hope I'm not thinking of the bowling alley across the street. There are two very close to each other. The one had no fear, police force,Adams family, funhouse, and a few more.

#7 9 years ago

There was another operator here a few months ago, but he pulled out.

#8 9 years ago

Batman added to the lineup at NGVL!

Was this run by PAPA? Why no mention of it anywhere at the PAPA site? I also saw people checking standings on their phones. Was it a secret? I love pinball and would love to get into casual competitions but its not a welcoming environment.

Also the place was hard to find. Need to contact the satellite map companies to have them change the address location from the alley behind the borough building to the actual place.

I was happy to donate to the Python cause though. Make no mistake I definitely had fun. Bowled a few games too.

#13 9 years ago

This was not a PAPA event, it was run by me and some volunteers.

Standings were available online. We had a sign at the front desk, but perhaps it got removed at some point.

No satellite mapping seems to get the location right for that place. My TomTom GPS works though. Is there a way to contact google and let them know their mapping is wrong?

Glad you made it out! Next time you stop out ask for me and I'll be glad to introduce you around and answer any of your questions.

#14 9 years ago

Yeah, I'll definitely be out again soon. Great place.

About maps, I've submitted fixes in the past, but there are multiple mapping companies so you may have to submit it to multiple vendors.

Check out this link: http://www.gps.gov/support/user/mapfix/devices-and-maps/

#15 9 years ago

I will do that this week. Thanks for the advice!

#16 9 years ago

Stopped in last night. Play fields are clean and you can tell games are kept up.someone broke one of your ac/dc lightning bolts. Bulb behind it is hanging. Wasn't me.

#17 9 years ago

Those bastards! I'll head up there and get that bulb fixed up ASAP. Thanks for stopping out and the feedback!

Ninjadoug:
I live right nearby in Monroeville and used to hang out on Saturday nights at the lanes and at RB's Lane 37 for wings and beer on the outdoor deck! Too bad the deck is gone, but the improved arcade is a great trade!!

My 11 y.o daughter and I spent some time (and our allowance!!) at the arcade this afternoon. Great line up!! I played everything once.....and WOZ, ACDC and Evel Knievel several times over. All the games played great. (minor note...the Dark Knight game's GI on the backbox lamps wereout, but the game played fine. I will do my best to spend more money at the arcade on rainy afternoons....my wife is excited to go check it out as well. Thanks for making these games available to the public again!

You are welcome Mike! I'm glad you enjoy the games. Keep an eye out as we will be switching some of them out soon.

I'm glad to be able to share some great pins with others and keep it out in the public eye.

#24 9 years ago

I also stopped in on Sunday, just so happens to be when Mike was there....Wish I had known you were a fellow pinsider!
Like last time, I enjoyed my visit. Great selection of games, all in great working condition!
Please keep us posted when you update the games ninjadoug, I'll be sure to drop by to see them again!

#25 9 years ago

Player-1---sorry I failed to introduce myself....had my hands full with quarters and keeping my daughter amused while I played. Mabye next time!!

#26 9 years ago

The wife and I have been out there a few times in the last month. Great place, machines in great shape. Unfortunately there was NOBODY there. This place needs some hype! One of the best pinball spots near Pittsburgh... oh yeah, you can bowl there, too... we bowl a few games each time we go.

#30 9 years ago

The bowling alley is dead in the summer, but this past Tuesday we had over 40 folks there playing in the tourney!

Thanks for the update!!

In case anyone would be intersted in checking out the Pittsburgh Pinball League and seeing what league play is about, they are meeting at New Great Valley Lanes tonight around 7. Check it out, great league with tons of players!

Medieval Madness joins the lineup!

Poor hulk is a double amputee. Op got tired of the arm hang ups I'm guessing.

#39 9 years ago

I was just there this weekend.... The twilight zone is amazing, looks like restore job. Also it was really nice to play medieval madness again. Best lineup right now at the location..

Yup. Hulk's arms have been removed to prevent stuck balls.

Took a mental health day from work today, and spent some time (and my "allowance"!!!)on the machines today. Disappointed that Woz and AC/DC were turned off, but the other games played great. I like playing Evel Knievel...such a classic. I really, really liked the Iron man. Such a fun, fast game. may have to add that to my Christmas list this year. I also had fun playing for the first time 2 other classics...Medieval Madness and The Twilight Zone. One of the things I like best about finding a nice arcade is playing machines that are new to me.
Thanks Ninja Doug!

#47 9 years ago

Sorry those two were down, the alley hadn't notified me of that. I'll be up there tomorrow and I will check them out.

Glad you had some fun there!

#48 9 years ago

No worries.....I will be back!!!

#49 9 years ago

I'm going to be up that way next month for a Penguins game, may have to stop by and play some pins! I assume this is part of the "New Great Valley Lanes" bowling alley?
