Should my usb drive be ntfs or fat32?

Getting pretty frustrated here. Had it fail 5 time now. I used the same usb stick that I used to update it last time. It’s the only one I have. Download the code, un-zipped it, and copied it onto my stick.

1st and 2nd attempt failed around 250000kb. I reseated the usb. 3rd attempt failed close to the same spot.

I re-formatted the usb, re-copied the file and tried again. 4th attempt failed around 700000kb. 5th attempt failed with 400kb to go. 6th attempt. Failed at 772 295kb. Of 772 559kb

7th time is trying now.

Stopped for a smoke. @ 729000 now. Fingers crossed

I’m going to redownload the file and try from the beginning again

This wasn’t an option with the 1st download (or at least I didn’t notice it) it went straight to the update.

I definitely noticed it this time and picked quick/verify. Fingers crossed

Ya I think this is where I was having problems. The download is a .spk file. The unzipped file didn’t even recognize in the game.

Just to be sure, you plug it in before you turn the game on? Other then that, I got nothing

Just to be sure, have you checked to wall outlet to make sure the game is receiving enough power? My first thought is that if it’s resetting during a busy time like multiball, then maybe it’s browning out.

I haven’t had any issues with mine yet.

Don’t give up hope. It took me 8-10 times before I got it to work. Had to redownload and format the usb drive a couple times.

There’s still an issue in 1.37 Pre/LE with the timing of the sword lock and release post. A 2nd ball will get released occasionally. I played with some friends for about 2 hours, I only noticed it happen once. 2 balls were in the lock (they could have been locked by another player, I don’t know for sure, I was watching my friend play.). He started stark and (I think) martell mode. The 1st ball was released from the lock, he missed a shot as a 2nd ball was released. The 1st ball rebounded and was immediately shot up the lock ramp and the ball was caught by the lock there. The 2nd ball remained in play like nothing happened.

This has happened twice for me while on 1.36 in the last couple days.

Ive never experienced it before on earlier code.

My pre took 8 tries to load 1.36. Don’t give up.

Started from scratch for the 3rd time. Different ports on my pc, different USB port in the game, Redownload the file, reformat the usb drive, ect. I think I used a usb 3.0 port for the winning go.

It was not zipped for me. Just the 780mb file.

This is way better.
