I'm hoping someone can help. I have a new Ghostbuster pro pinball I purchased less then a month ago. The other night I noticed that the upper left ramp was not scoring so after looking into it I noticed 2 of the 3 screws that hold the switches to the ramp were missing. So after replacing them all everything worked well.
I got home this evening and noticed the plastic around the screw heads looked cracked like it crystalized. I have pictures and want to now how this happened.
Is the ramp going to crack and should it be covered under warranty.
If anyone could help I would truly appreciate it.
Thanks.

That doesn’t look right . I would contact stern and show them these pics .

The odd thing about it is if you run you finger over the top and bottom of ramp you feel nothing. It seems like it's inside the plastic.

You also might have accidentally tightened them a little too much .

This is over tightening or something similar. Something put pressure on that plastic and the visual evidence points to the screw.

You way overtightened those screws when you put them back. I doubt stern does anything to remedy the situation besides sell you a new ramp. It sounds like you didn’t really break the ramp so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

So Stern Pinball called me on Friday and is going to send me a replacement ramp assembly with everything on it so it's an easy swap. What had happen was the replacement screws that were missing on the ramp were sent to me by Stern and in the email the tech told me to use a little blue Lochtite on the screw threads. Well it was the Lochtite that caused the issue, according to the tech. Stern is not only covering a new ramp assembly, but they are also paying to have a tech swapped it out at no charge.

Lochtite causing cracks....... Thats a new one to me after using it for 20 plus years.

I would say more like screwtotite.
