Quoted from 85vett:I don't want to take away from what was done here but yes, $95 for the end user to spend to fix a design problem with something is expensive. Not that their isn't $95 worth of value in the product it's that nobody should have to spend a dime in order to get the game to function as designed.
Fortunately, for most people, just enlarging the holes in the factory diverter bracket fixes the issue (for free). If that doesn't work for you, then this would be a good option.
100% agree with you there. That is why I basically charged 20 bucks for my fix and threw in the extra washers for protruding screws in left orbit, lock washers for VUK, throne cushion, game of throne collector cards and a little Afghani dinar for shits and giggles. That way it didn't feel so much like people having to pay to have their new machine fixed and more like they were paying for an extra goodie bag with enhancers. Trust me, I wasn't profiting on my fix and I only wanted to help the community. That is why I passed my design off to cliffy free of charge and didn't ask for a dime in return.
