    Quoted from toyotaboy:

what else you could do with it? I mean it's not like she has any recent Elvira movies to pull quotes from.

    Ummmm,
    She's Elvira for starters.
Who needs a movie to go off of when you have THE queen-b of double entendres? She is sharper than a freshly minted adamantium tack and can deliver any kind of dialogue she feels; that also fits the chosen theme.
Hell, it can even be a simple black and white 50's campy drive-in sci-fi/horror type game for all I care, just as long as she can continue to extend/build upon what made the last two games so great.

Shame to hear Charlie won't be participating in it but, I guess that's life...
Dennis and his trusty Nordmanite will surely prevail one of these days and I really hope it's sooner, rather than later!

    Sooooo,
    Don't make me go*Elvira 3*get those*Elvira 3*headphones Dennis*Elvira 3*and Greg!

Nice! I would be in for one of these.

    Title the pin,
    "Elvira, the Senior Years".

    #655 4 years ago

a bit off the pinball topic.. but very elvira.. the story is the casino slotmaker Aristocrat the company which have 'Joe Kaminkow' designer pinhead extravaganza got the idea to build another elvira slot, and it looks like a lot of fun

I totally agree, Nimble. The beauty of the theme is the versatility. And besides, it's Elvira.

    ....AND 501 votes!

    #658 4 years ago

    Boom! Past the 500 mark!!!
    That's a legit run of "boo-tique", games!

Guess I'll just have to kick back and watch Ash VS. Evil Dead this fall until we reach the 1000 milestone. Keep up the good work Pinside!

    #659 4 years ago

501...and that's just Pinside! Someone should jump on this.....maybe after Alien....

Maybe Elvira needs a long, lean reboot? Elvira can license herself to some young hottie. Blasphemy, or best idea ever?

Yes this. I still think cassandra peters looks good for her age, but it IS a character after all. Svengoolie at pinball life wasn't the original svengooglie, and I guarantee the band KISS will continue on with new band members because it's a cash cow (and the band was formed as such).

    #664 4 years ago

Right! The art images used on the game would look like the character.

    ... such as Elvira's comics....

She actually was pitching (or had) a reality show to do just that and the fans were not into the hottie as they couldn't appreciate Elvira without Cassandra.

So, is Spooky doing Elvira 3?

Chuck will never do an Elivra pin unless he's contracted to do so by Dennis.

If the Elvira license falls through, I'd love to see a Whoa Nellie! sequel with Melony in a full-sized standard game (Bigger Squirtier Melons? LOL). She's got the same marketable ass-ets to make it happen.

    #673 3 years ago

She doesn't have the same figure, but I think Jan from the Toyota commercials has the face for the role.

If you guys think Elvira is all but JUST a pair of big boobs, I'm sorry but you're totally missing the point here!

The campy horror stuff and the innuendo gets me every time. I would buy a new Elvira game if done by Dennis/Greg/Elvira, no question.

There are those that get it and like it and those that don't.

Ash vs Evil Dead would be another theme I would have to buy. I'm sure some people think that the gore is not realistic or Bruce Campbell is not hot enough, but that's part of the whole allure.

Elvira, EVIL DEAD and Bruce Campbell... they all rule BIG TIME!!!!!!!

My fiance played a scared stiff at a friends house.... It was her favorite

I'd be in for a new one!!!!

    #684 3 years ago

I just sold my Scared Stiff, and I let my EATPM go last year, so I'm Elvira-less. We'll see what Greg and Dennis get themselves up to.

    #685 3 years ago

SS is a masterpiece as it has that magical combo of humor, solid design, nice art, good sound package/call outs, and a great thematic fit for pinball... I would be likely be in.

    #686 3 years ago

Besides, Columbus, Ohio's own pinball designer has to be supported...
