Add 2000 to anything makes it more awesome.
Please. "2000" is soooo yesterday. On to Game Saver 3000!!!
Beverage holders are one of the best functional things I've added to my games. When I think back to how many spilled drinks I dealt with beforehand, they have paid for themselves many times over!
My cups have no drain hole, like in my example to protect my hardwood floors from spills. But could be easily drilled if needed. The idea was quick removal of just the cup not the bracket for cleaning.
These look great.
Cup holders are a must on all of my pins and up until now I didn't have a good way to mount them on my arcade games. I'm looking forward to checking these out when available.
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Cmon dude. Get a life. Sounds like honest mistake to me. Pinsides site is somewhat confusing at times. Get over it
Get a life, 'Dude", sorry to see this, really...All I stated was that if someone wanted to advertise and sell on this site, it would be great if they also donated to the site on a regular basis. I do not understand why some of you folks thought that this was negative, and for sure a few of you don't know what I have personalty attributed to the pinball community with over thirty years of experience in this business, and then offer my many different mods and support.
Too bad to those that only troll around here, climb on as lemmings, and do not appreciate the people like me, that offer support without anything in return.,
Please, again, don't get mad at me, I just thought to mention that if folks really enjoy and "use" this site, it would be nice to offer support by contributing a little $ bit, especially if they want to offer and sell their new products.
Again,,why get mad at me, I thought it was just a friendly reminder to support Pinside as a whole, and it is now very interesting to see that quite of folks have changed their mind and contributed also...So I guess my beatings by a few folks has helped support Pinside, as intended anyway.
Quoted from pin-pimp:Didn’t know a yearly donation was required is all.
Nothing is required.
I donate yearly because I actively participate in the forum. I don't know how much of my business comes from Pinside; but I'm guessing it's way more than 70%.
It's just good form to send some cash to Robin and crew when the time comes around. I keep my heart filled within months of it going "dark"
The part looks interesting; I'm not sure I like the all plastic design - but the configurable nature looks interesting.
For me it's all about price. But the colored option looks like it might be handy.
The other issue; is there doesn't look to be enough surface area for "ModFather" or others to use as a backdrop for their game specific versions.
Solid colors and translucent colors will be ran on the first production order. The clear and translucent option will also have the bottom led option cap included.
As of now looking like black ordered 4+ will be $10, solid colors 4 +$11 and translucent with The cap at 4+$14
Like I said before when we set up the pinside store they will get their cut. Not trying to sneak anything past anyone. All things happen in time, legit.
All major distributors have been contacted and will have product.
This is a new parts announcement thread not a new parts for sale thread.
Other than the first hundred samples I don’t have any to sell, most of that is being sent out for free for people to test out and see. Production order goes in Monday and I would think product in hand in 2 weeks.
Quoted from pin-pimp:Didn’t know a yearly donation was required is all. We plan to set up on the market place here and I thought there was a fee and pinside get part of sales? Still looking into this, selling product here is new to me but we will make sure all is as should be. It s not about the money, it’s about I didn’t know rules But will
A donation is completely optional--that's why its a donation, and not a membership fee or anything like that. But, your donation is appreciated, as it helps pay for hosting and development of the site.
With a donation, there are a few useful perks, but otherwise, all major features of the site are available to everyone whether or not they donate to the site.

The enthusiasm and support is appreciated, but please don't try to pressure people into donating. Keep in mind that not everyone contributes to the pinball community in a monetary fashion. Some people contribute their time, talents, and/or skills.

I would be happy to test and give feedback.
Clear/translucent with bottom led cap: hmmm, is that just battery op I hope? I'd be into a clear with a blue LED. Sounds pretty slick, plus it would draw the attention of my beer drinking crew on card night! Psst! Put your beer here!
Let me clarify, clear and trans. Have a bottom cap same diameter as the bottom of the cup. There is a center screw hole to hold it on and a small side cut out for wire leads. He cap is 1/2 inch tall inside.
This cap can hole a led ring or strip led of what the end user likes, personal preference and tap into machine where they like. I’m sure moders and led company’s will develop a canned led package but that’s not my expertise. I accommodate led feature but not making the led option. We are molding the caps Monday and I will post pics of what it looks like and lit up with leds. The proto was very impressive!

Nice. How might one get on the free sample list?

Looks cool. Is this like that volcano cup thing? Look forward to getting a few of these.
Don’t know what a volcano cup is but this in my own design. I made a extra bottom cap optional to house a led add on if one so desires.
We run the clear first then trans colors then solid colors then black. Starts in 2 weeks. I have about 30 clear that can go out now.
I will take 6 of the clear ones with the LED cap. I can do my own LED's if need be....Really liking this design, and the ability to change colors if the game changes. I would probably put them on a pulsing color change...............fun mod
Just recieved my pcups today and I have to say, well done!!! They attach in under a minute, have screws on on top to prevent theft and look great. I dont know or have never met the maker of these, but I hope he has more ideas coming. I never liked the pingulp because they are in the way if your pins are close together like mine are, you can remove cup and bracket is fairly tight to cabinet. Great job!!!
I've been asked how did I get these if I didnt know him. When thread came out I was reading it and someone mentioned he didnt donate to pinside. I said to give the guy a break, sometimes pinsides site is a bit confusing if you're not on here all time. He messaged me his thanks and said he would send me a free cup for what I said, and I ended up ordering for a friend and I. Nice of him to offer that.
20200226_172831 (resized).jpg20200226_172847 (resized).jpgNice pics and feedback. We have donated and setting up a pinside store to cover bases.
Production order PO is in with many colors on the way very soon. I’ve got some clear in stock
