Last week we attended the gadget show at the NEC and visited our good friends at Bespoke Arcades. They have been working incredibly hard on a digital pinball machine, it's awesome!

We got some exclusive details about it...

1) It can hold over 200 pinball games and they have the licence to create classics such as all marvel related ones, terminator 2, attack from mars and loads more!

2) Price range £4000-5500

3) Potentially using 3D technology so the pin table will follow your eyes, meaning depth will be created giving it a more realistic pinball feel.

4) Aluminium brush finish with LED display for scoring. Sounds are incredible and the response of the buttons is incredibly quick, feels just like a real machine!

what does this comment mean?

The pinball machine isn't built by ourselves, I'm just pointing out there is a new digital pinball machine coming out soon.

It does seem different to previous ones as they are looking at making the screen 3D which means you can see depth and not just a flat digital surface.

I agree with most of you guys that it will never perfectly emulate a real pin. What it will do though is be pretty much near them. When I played it did feel really good for a prototype and what the designer/engineer was saying is that it will be sharper, better lighting and 3D depth. If they can nail that I think it will be the best digital pin. 200 games+ though, can't complain with that if they do get the response rate of the flippers perfect.

Roast me alive? For simply pointing out there is a new digital pin coming out soon that has some really cool features and the prototype was great...

I never claimed it was better than a real pin, it clearly won't be but it's just interesting and I applaud the guys at bespoke for trying hard to create the best digital pin

That is your opinion. I agree the vast majority would want the real deal for that money. It shouldn't hurt you so much that a company is trying to make a real good digital pin tho

Many people may want to buy it, 200+ games in one machine, seems like a good concept.

Regardless, it's just some pinball news, I would personally spend 4k on a real one (which I do).

It's not us that are making it, I'm just posting news from the latest tech show in the UK. It has 1 button on both sides, Most pins have one button on each side. correct me if I'm wrong though.

Definitely something I will send over to the bespoke team, I'm sure they mentioned something along the lines of what you just said. I think a virtual pin would be great for some people. No mechanical faults (well less faults) and 200+ games. Nailing it would be awesome, we will have to wait and see.

I'm not trying to sell the machine at all I'm just stating information we got from the expo.. thought the pinball community would be interested in the new developments of this machine. negative or positive.

I appreciate your comments tho, I see where you are coming from but it was only a prototype they did talk about additional adds ons etc, have to wait and see the final product.

I'm sorry we don't have confirmation of this because we are not creating the machine. The company stated they are using one company whom allows them to use over 200 games such as terminator 2 and mars attack etc. not sure who they were referring too, once I get more details I will let you know.

Thanks for that. Yes I'm just reporting the news and we spoke to the creator at the expo and the details I'm saying is what he told us. I wouldn't lie as we have a good working relationship with bespoke arcades, they just want to make a great product.

They are very creative and build awesome machines we will get more info for you guys from them as this thread has been very productive questions wise. Will get back to you all with specifics
