Not my favorite C2C podcast. I made it thru most of it but it was the same topic over and over. It got tiring. I understand that women are hassled in gaming. I understand people can be idiots. I also understand people trying to honestly help shouldn't be met with derision. I try to always be courteous to people and expect the same.

Bottom line: If women want to have all female leagues and tournaments, I say go for it. The bottom line is to grow the hobby. More is better.

I don't think it's an matter of exclusion but inclusion. People are social beings. We are most comfortable in groups that match our live experience. If women are more comfortable playing in women leagues and tournaments, I say go for it.

I'm fine with women only leagues and tournaments. I'm sure most players are.

The other tournaments will be waiting when they want to participate.

Again...I'm for anything reasonable that includes more players and grows the hobby.

I listened to the JPOP interview and it's pretty apparent that JPOP is a creative person with no idea how to run a business. If fact, he's very bad at it and the folks who trusted him with their money are getting the short end of the deal. He's not the first creative person to fail. Kickstarter is full of failed projects. I don't sense any master plan to make a money grab and screw his customers. I feel bad that they are losing their money. I hope JPOP finds a way to make them whole but I don't believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny so I don't have much hope of this happening.

Nate - I won't say I enjoyed hearing Jpop's 'side' but thanks for having him stumble through it. It was a sad, tragic and hard to listen to but I was glad you did it. Thanks.
