I got a new CPR Rolling Stones backglass a few weeks ago and it looks awesome.
The plastics set is awesome too.
Now if we could convince CPR to do the playfields. I see they are in the boutique section. I pre-ordered. We need more people to do the same.
Quoted from Mitch:What about issues like this?
Look at the black detail on the face, hair, dress and right arm.[quoted image][quoted image]
I pulled out the F2000 back glass that I have... the OEM glass has a lighter touch to it.
The reproduction, going by your picture, has a heavy handed touch to it...
I guess it comes with the territory of not having OEM screens to work from.

What to you mean by lighter touch?

I have a CAD sample on the way and should have some out in limited quantities within a month or so.

We'd love to do a new TOM backglass as I agree with you that the original looked bad, just fuzzy and out of focus for lack of better terminology. So the issue is we need something that is better than the original artwork which we just can't figure out what that would be. We do need something though because I hate to say it but I sold my game because of the translite. I just hated it and it bugged me every time I looked at it. Eventually when I was looking for space for a new game ToM got voted out of the gameroom due to the translite.
It might be time for a custom attempt, its not like we could do ALOT worse.

Has the single order on-demand process started yet? If not, is there a timeframe for it? That would be the ultimate candy store for pinheads!

Quoted from shovelhed:Are you going to do any modern sterns?
talk to stern about custom stern titles, i don't think gary would allow cpr to do recent stuff like that......
BY the way, do I need trimming for the CPR backglasses? Which one to use? - after all I don't need to hold any translite...

I will take one. TOM
And a Mirrored Dr Who.
Has anyone found trim that actually fits the new backglasses? Everything I found has to be forced on and I am afraid of breaking the glass. I already broke a few trim trying to get them on.
Thanks
This hardware worked perfectly for my CPR Silverball Mania mirrored backglass.

I am referring to the new mirrored backglasses that are translight conversion. They seem to be 3/16 thick and cant find lift channel that is a good fit
Got it...note that gatecrasher also does a 3/16” version for most of his products. Vid had posted an old flyer of his at the top of the thread linked above, which shows his standard products, but if you PM him with dimensions you are after he will get back to you. His product is very good from my experience.

I would love a Riverboat Gambler in Mirrored Glass.
and..A Capcom Pinball Magic mirrored glass I might name my next kid Kevin.
Late to the My Backglass is to dark party. Yup they are darker. They look darker when non lit too. But once lit I can do lighting work with LED's way better, and I honestly think they look better when lit properly from behind.

Plastics and playfield for the Dr. Who.
I've been considering pulling the trigger on the FH mirrored. I personally have always hated translites in general. I love the 80's mirrored backglasses and hoping this more or less sets that tone and pops more than the translite. I've only really seen a couple people that grabbed one. What exactly is mirrored?
