    Quoted from Zitt:

I'm interested in their product - but I'm guessing it's going to be unreasonably expensive.

I don't recall the exact price, but they talked about it during their TechCrunch Hardware Battlefield pitch. I think they said their kickstarter price would be $1400 or $1700. It didn't strike me a crazy expensive at the time. I've spent more than that on other prototyping tools.

Ben Heck was showing off the way he makes boards on his video podcast. It's pretty wild how he uses it to basically "print" the board.

The main benefit to the Voltera type method (and Ben Heck's or traditional etching) is not waiting two weeks for boards.

I love OSHpark, but it's at least 2 weeks from the time I order until the time I get them. So if you are running a shop where you need to iterate quickly, you'd want something that can churn out something quickly without the panelizing/manufacturing/shipping times required to use even a quick board shop.
