Quoted from MikeS:I suppose we can just call them the "n stuff awards".
Stuff you get from the horns shots.... I will call them "horny stuff".

Quoted from Gmarch:Did the update make the game faster?
Don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I seem to be getting more airballs after the update. Maybe the default coil strength was changed?
Quoted from Arcade:I believe it is the 3rd Tunes N Stuff award
5th! Not easy to get to... and very disappointing when you do.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Still on old code....
WHY?!?! Please update today, and thank me later.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Normal score for me is 20m-75m on a good day. 125m got me GC and that's the best game I've ever had on this bitch. Sunburn success I guess....
I predict a new GC score with the new code installed.
Quoted from rotordave:No pins (to my knowledge) give you an extra ball for a certain score on factory settings.
On most pins, you can set the replay setting to award you an extra ball instead of a replay.
rd
That may be true for Stern, but there are definitely Williams/Bally games that have score-based EB as default.
Quoted from DNO:Default??
Pretty sure they are replays for score on factory setting.
Nope. Factory default settings have two score levels that award an extra ball. True for both RFM and SWE1.
Quoted from Shapeshifter:Curious if people think rules are balanced?
For the average player encore seems a million miles away and very little incentive, if any to attempt to play for it?
I know that when I play I never think about finishing songs to progress.
Am I missing anything or is the game unbalanced?
I think the game is pretty well balanced. The only incentive to go for Encore is to say you did it. When playing for score/competition, going for the wizard mode is rarely a good strategy for any game.
P.S. Please don't post in this thread unless there's an AC/DC code update.
Quoted from alveolus:I have been waiting for the fix to update the code. Looks like I will be on 1.65 forever.
The differences between 1.70 and 1.65 are significant.... Doesn't make sense not to update.
Quoted from alveolus:Significant perhaps but not too compelling without the oi mania, which is the feature I was most interested in. Particularly since I would have to re-configure all of my custom music.
Check the change log. Lots of bug fixes and rule changes, all for the better. You’d rather have no “Stuff” because one of the higher awards is not working? Most people never make it to Oi Mania anyway.
Changing the music is not hard, particularly if you’ve done it before.
