This is amazing.
And for the 50+ people that I did music updates for, yes I will try to get to them as you message me.
I will also post my most popular file with Dirty Deeds, Shoot to thrill and Girls got Rhythm up here for all to download since Stern does not seem to care anymore.
Now go play some pinball!!!

Have not tried to load it yet meself.
I can also confirm now that 1.70 will not load into PinBroswer software. 
No new songs until this gets sorted out
Finally had time to put in a few good games.
Good news is that my Color DMD did not go black when I had all three multiballs lit and played them.
Also noticed that the new "Tunes N Stuff" awards are not random. You always get them in the order listed in the code notes.
1. -2X DEVIL HORNS
2. - HOLD BONUS
3. - 7,500,000 POINTS
4. - AWARD BELL SHOT WITH V.I.P. PASS
5. - OI MANIA (7,500 PER SWITCH. OI!)
6. - 10,000,000 POINTS
7. - EXTRA BALL

Here is the description. I don't see anything about it being a mystery or random.
- Changed the rule for the DEVIL HORNS. Instead of lighting all 3 shots
at once, they are lit in order: BELL, RIGHT LOOP, LEFT LOOP. Once the
LEFT LOOP shot is made to complete the sequence, the Tunes N Stuff lamp
is lit to collect "STUFF".
- Added STUFF to Tunes N Stuff:
- 2X DEVIL HORNS (multiplies the lit DEVIL HORN shots by 2).
- HOLD BONUS
- 7,500,000 POINTS
- AWARD BELL SHOT WITH V.I.P. PASS
Using the VIP PASS button also awards all features available
at the BELL (which includes advancing the PLAYFIELD MULTIPLIER).
(The Premium/LE will swing the bell using the BELL MAGNET.)

True. But it does not state either way.
All we did is figure it out and report it so people would know.
No harm no foul.
Looks like with Oi mode broken there will be more code coming sooner then later.
No issues with my color DMD.

Since OGA was kind enough to get 1.70 code running in the browser I thought I would help everyone out a bit that wants to change some songs easily.
As usual the new code has shuffled the songs around a bit from the previous code.
Although I don't really recommend doing it until Stern patches the issue with the "Oi" mode not working and the hold bonus on ball 3 issue. Otherwise you will be redoing all of your work again when the patch comes out.
But here you go any way.

This info needs to get to Stern/Lyman somehow.
That makes 3 issues that I know of.

I would go ahead and upgrade.
The broken OI mode is hard to get to and it does not effect game play. And the Hold Bonus On Ball 3 not working is not that big a deal either.
The new scoring and added Tunes N Stuff both make the game more fun to play.

However I have a hard time calling them mystery awards when I know what is coming every time

Makes sense to balance out the songs as otherwise it's boring when everybody keeps picking Hell's Bells in tournaments.
So, the game is going to get better
No mention if anything will happen with the cannon inserts but presumably Oi mania will be fixed.
Just listened to Head 2 Head. And while it is not the original Lyman interview, it is nice to have confirmed that he is not happy with AC/DC in its current form.
More cool code is on the way to balance the songs out even more.

They are what was added to the game from the new code.
Up at the top of the playfield in the hole where you change your song is a red insert arrow that says Tunes N Stuff.
All it used to do was Tunes. lol. Now it does Stuff as well.
Someone else can explain it better but basically you have to hit the devil horn inserts in a certain order as they flash and then Tunes N Stuff will flash to collect new game awards. One of them being a cool sounding OI mode where every switch you hit makes the game say OI.
Only it does not say anything.

Your scores will go up with the new scoring rules and the fact that it takes less shots to start all the main multiballs.
